We celebrated Marshall's 40th birthday! It was fun celebrating over the weekend. We had his favorite breakfast on the morning of his birthday. That night we went to the Lowry Door Christmas party at Rodizio Grill. Since he doesn't like celebrating his birthday we didn't mention it or sing to him. We enjoyed the yummy food and socializing with Mike and Kim. I always sit by Kim at Lowry Door parties.
Lynnlee went to the temple to do baptisms for the dead with her young women group. I appreciate the leaders putting this together. We had a hard time getting appointments for our family the last few months so it was nice she could go with the young women.
I joined PTA to volunteer at school with my kids. I enjoyed that for many years and then decided to take some steps back. Now I enjoy going to lunch with the friends I made through PTA. It is the only way I get to see most of them and it's fun eating at yummy restaurants too. We went to The Harvest at Thanksgiving Point for our December lunch. I love these ladies so much!
Tag had the stomach flu when everyone got to go to Provo Beach Resort with UVHBA in November. I promised him I would take him another time to make up for it.
The basement now has a finished bathroom and a drinking fountain! It's so nice! We hired Al to finish the bathroom. Marshall installed the drinking fountain.
We celebrated Christmas with the Lowrys. We had a delicious dinner and dessert. We opened some presents and watched the First Presidency Christmas devotional. It was a very nice day.
Marshall and I went to A Christmas Story at Scera. It was fun and enjoyable seeing community theater. We've had a good variety of Christmas date nights over the years: Kurt Bestor, Mannheim Steamroller, Transiberian Orchestra, and now this.
We went to the Orem Temple Open house. It is a beautiful temple. There are cherry blossoms throughout and a lot of reds and greens. It was very colorful and bright.
