Rollie Pollies

The minis are now rolling around. They are in a different position every time I check on them. It's pretty entertaining.

Most of the time one is kicking the other while the other one is innocently playing. Today I found them both kicking each other.

One day Sienna was kicking Tag on his side and he was giggling and then he was trying to chew on her leg. Free entertainment for anyone who wants to come hang out with the minis.

Reading Buddies

James does most of his reading minutes for school on the computer through Raz Kids. This doesn't happen all the time but some of the time the others like to sit around him and listen to him read. It's pretty cute.

Creams Puffs

10 Things that make me happy (not necessarily in this order):

1. Sleep
2. Rain kissed leaves body lotion
3. Snuggles with all the little people in my house
4. Hot shower after a cold morning run
5. Sleep
6. Laughing with Marshall at the end of the day about funny things our children did that day
7. Chocolate malts
8. Did I mention sleep yet?
9. Tasty Turkey from Einsteins Bagel

10. Last of all (but not least)...this guy! I love when he gets in the mood to make a treat because it is always something really delicious. He made cream puffs with homemade custard filling. Yum!

Couch Sunday

Sometimes Sundays come so fast and I can't believe it is already time to get a picture again. I love these two WHEN they smile, are happy, giggle, take good naps and sleep all night. It is a lot harder when they have runny noses, coughs, wake up a lot and both need to be held. Good thing their cuteness overrides a lot of the hard stuff. Most times the more children you have equals the less pictures that get taken of the youngest. The minis are definitely an exception. I think they have way more pictures than my other children.

I think Taggie is going to watch out for Sienna and protect her as they grow up. (even if it looks like he has no neck)

She's definitely in good hands!

Dancer

Lynnlee found a hobby she loves. She started going to dance class in October and loves it. I know nothing about dance and so my sisters have been very helpful. I called Ali when Lynnlee first went and asked her what Lynnlee should wear and what order each went on. I could tell you anything about soccer or basketball but when it comes to dance I feel so clueless. I always wanted to take dance when I was in elementary school but it wore off once I was in middle school and started playing basketball. It's was sports for me forever after that.

Lynnlee was too shy to practice her routine for me or anyone. She told me she would only show me but unfortunately it is a rare occasion when I am by myself without the minis or Kaden. She wouldn't even let the minis see. She is a funny girl and very stubborn. The dance class is held in a classroom without windows so I couldn't watch her or help her with the routine.

I thought for sure she would be one to stand on the stage and not dance during the recital. As the recital got closer she asked me why she had to have a recital and didn't seem excited for it. She loved the look of the costume but when she wore it, it felt itchy and bugged her. It wasn't looking good for a successful recital.

My sisters Ali and Betsy did her hair and make up. Something I'm also not great with. I feel like I barely know how to do my own hair and make up. Ali came Thursday and did it for the dress rehearsal and pictures.

Betsy came Friday and did it for the recital. They both did an amazing job!
Lynnlee actually danced at the rehearsal and recital. She did a very good job and remembered most of the dance. She really enjoyed herself and it was fun seeing her so happy. It is also the same way James looks after playing soccer. It is fun to watch my kids find things they love and seeing how happy they are doing them.

Nice Guy

James's school has a Christmas program but this year they perform for the other grades and not parents. He has been practicing his songs and I was sad that I would not get to see him. He performed for us for a special family night musical number. That was way better!
During the lesson Marshall asked our kids why we celebrate Christ at Christmas. James said, "Because Jesus is a really nice guy!"

Kadenator

Kaden often seems to be more of a handful than TWO babies. He is full of energy and if given open ground he will run and not look back. Walmart can be tricky. He took off running right out of the gates through the entrance. He found this rabbit gun that screamed and also made bodily function noises. I talked him into sitting in the shopping cart and playing with this toy while I shopped. I wasn't paying much attention to him at first. Then as I turned down aisle after aisle I started to notice other shoppers reactions. They would hear the loud noises made by this toy and look startled, disgusted, shocked and then they would part to the side of the aisle and out of our way. It was awesome! It made me laugh so hard! Then I took a picture of Kaden playing with it and him laughing his head off. (Pictured below)
