Lynnlee's Tooth

Lynnlee lost her first tooth tonight. Just a few days shy of being five-years-old. We have a lot of fun things planned this week for her birthday so it was fun to start off the week with this. She was a little reluctant to have it pulled out but agreed after a little convincing. Marshall pulled it out with pliers. James was so excited for her and offered to get her a tissue and ice to put on it. She cried a little after so this was her best "happy face" picture.

Sunday Minis

The minis would not smile for me unless they were chewing on their tooth brushes. They love them. One day I took Taggart's away from him so I could feed him and he cried and cried until I gave it back to him.

Luckily he didn't have a melt down when I took it from him but I just couldn't get a great smile from either of them.

Marshall helped me get some good smiles from them by burping. Yep, it's the truth. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do to get smiles.

Sunday Minis

The minis stayed home today because they are still getting over their yucky colds. They took baths this morning so after I got them all dolled up for their pictures. They are now 8 months old! What a roller coaster. With them being sick for so long, I feel like they have cried more than be happy this last month. It's been rough having two sick babies. Tag was fussy from about 5:30 until bedtime yesterday. My arm was sore from trading off between him and Sienna all evening. Today it looks like Sienna has a tooth popping up so hopefully that and her cold will explain her fussiness and restless nights of sleep for the last 3 weeks.

I still haven't trimmed Taggie's long patch of hair on top. I'm so afraid I will mess it up and it's not like it will just grow back. Well, it will but not for another year. If I mess up on James's or Kaden's hair it blends in after a few days.

Tag has eczema on his cheeks so he has a scratch mark on his face from itching it. Eczema is the worst! Today he is sporting his Nike suit he got from the Valentine Man.

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday! The minis are standing tall these days. It was fun to see James's and Lynnlee's excitement when they saw the minis standing and playing.

Week of Minis

The minis are still smiling despite being sick. Sienna has the biggest smile and it's quite contagious.

There's no guessing where these two end up now that they are steam rollers.

Bath time is a favorite for them. They are both so full of mucous and constantly have goop in on their eyes. I'm so thankful for the suction clinic at the hospital. I've been taking Tag and he is able to nap so much better after being suctioned out.

Kade

Lynnlee and Emma

Lynnlee's best friend Emma just moved and we are pretty sad about it. She lived down the street and is the same age. Emma came to play on the day she was moving and we had a tea party for her farewell. I'm glad I got a picture of these two together.

Night at Boondocks

James had a pass to Boondocks that he got from his teacher for Christmas that needed to be used up by the end of the month. Call us bad parents for taking sick babies out but we left them in the stroller the whole time. Since the minis have been more tired, they didn't mind sitting there the whole time.

That was my first time at Boondocks and I was pleasantly surprised. It was lots of fun and my kids loved it. Can we get this place on the pass of all passes?

We got a treat after. The boys sat on one side and the girls on the other. They were posing with their "tough" faces.

I'm not sure what Lynnlee is doing with her hand. I guess it's her "girly" pose. I really love my girls!
