Family Walks

We started off our family walk with Lynnlee on a bike, Kaden on his scooter and James riding his bike. Marshall was pushing the stroller. Lynnlee isn't quite conditioned for the season and her bike is getting too small. She was too tired to finish. So Marshall took over James's bike and gave them both a ride.

The next day we went on a bike ride to James's school for family night. It was a beautiful night.
James loved showing us his play ground and field where he plays at recess.

Top 100

I'm happy to say that I work for one of the top one hundred hospitals in the nation. My hospital gave every employee a jacket after they received the award. The last hospital I worked for also is in top on hundred. I'm lucky to work at such great places.

Zoo Field Trip

The first graders went to the zoo for their field trip this year. Lynnlee, Kaden and I tagged along. Thanks so much to my aunt for watching the minis! It was a cold day and James's group was hard to keep up with so I was relieved that I didn't have the minis with me.

James had six people in his group with another mom as their chaperone. Luckily it was his friend's mom so that made it fun for me. The kids literally ran from each exhibit to the next and it was tricky to stay caught up.

The animals were very active and fun to watch.

I'm glad they still have these drinking fountains!

James's school wasn't allowed to ride the train or carousel. I took Lynnlee and Kaden on it after he left back to school.

Exchange

Last Monday I planned to weed the garden while the minis were napping, Lynnlee was at preschool, and James was at school. That left Kaden who I thought would be easily entertained outside. He wanted to come in the garden with me but I didn't want him to get dusty or muddy. He didn't want to do anything in the back yard. He only wanted to play in the cul-de-sac but I couldn't see him from the garden so that was not an option. He saw the water table in our shed. I was desperate and so in 60 degree weather he filled up the water table and played for an hour while I weeded. Oh the things kids can get us to agree to in exchange to be able to get something else done. It was worth it though. The weather was bad the rest of the week.

James's Unbirthday

Since James has a summer birthday he got to pick a day to celebrate with his class. I took donuts to his class last week and they all sang to him. It was fun to see how excited he was.

Lynnlee and Kaden

Lynnlee and Kaden are always asking me to take their pictures. They are my main buddies since James is gone all day to school. The minis take two long naps during the day so I get to spend time with these two.

James and Lynnlee did swim lessons but Kaden wasn't old enough. He had a really hard time watching them and not jumping in. There were a few times he tried or got really close to the edge.  On the last day he put his feet in, shoes and all. I guess he just couldn't stand it any longer.

Lynnlee got a free ice cream cone for her birthday from our pediatrician. She and I went out together. It was a lot of fun spending one on one time with her. She was so tough at her kindergarten check up and didn't even flinch when she got her shots.

Babies

I was looking at baby pictures and decided it would be fun to show a picture of all my kids at the same age. Each is around 9 months old.
