James turned 18 and is now an adult! Wowza! So crazy to have an adult child. He requested German pancakes for his birthday breakfast.
We went to the Provo pool to celebrate. The weather was so cloudy that we practically had the place to ourselves. The tricky thing is that Kade and Tag were playing in a soccer tournament so we had to work around their game schedule. We had to wait and go to the pool after Kade's game. Tag didn't want to swim because he had a game later so he didn't come. Then we finished at the pool in time for me to go to Tag's game.
We had stroganoff for James's birthday dinner. It was a exciting night because James received the Melchizedek priesthood after dinner.
It was so hard not having my parents there.
Oreos for dessert, his favorite!
James has grown up so much in the last year, physically and in all the other ways too. He puts the Lord first and was good at waking up early to study the scriptures. He is a good friend to everyone and would take his siblings to have fun. He works hard and puts forth his best effort in anything he commits to. He will be a great missionary and I have no doubt that he will thrive on is mission.
