Bedtime

Lynnlee is the hardest to get to sleep out of my three kids. Sometimes if we have some where to go at bedtime it is just easier to let her fall asleep in the car. She has a lot of energy when we first get in the car. Then all I have to say is, "Pretend to be asleep so Kaden will fall asleep." Works like a charm and she is asleep minutes later.

This Is The Place

We went to This Is The Place Heritage Park a week ago for a family reunion. We went a few years ago but my kids were ready to go home after an hour. I was pleasantly surprised this year when we had been there for four hours and they didn't want to leave. They played in the littler village, rode ponies, saw the print shop, made crafts, rode both trains, and had a picnic lunch. It was a good day!

Tarzan

We saw Tarzan at the Scera Shell last night. It was the first time my kids have been to a musical so I wasn't sure if they would like it. They enjoyed it and almost made it through the whole thing. After inhaling lots of sugar filled treats and being up late we had the recipe for a nice big melt down which occurred during the last scene. Thank goodness it wasn't until then so we quickly grabbed our things and got out of dodge.  On the positive side, we beat everyone to the parking lot and didn't get stuck in traffic.

Kaden liked it and laughed a few times during some of the up beat songs. Lynnlee liked dancing to the songs. James's favorite was the leopard.

Big Red

You can never have too many chances to see a fire truck. It was at Lowes today so when we finished our projects we checked it out.

Pinkalicious

Lynnlee went to her first birthday party today for her friend Emma. It was a Pinkalicious party. My favorite quote from Lynnlee when she was leaving to go to the party, "Don't have too much fun without me!"

Jordan River Trail

I usually go running before these chiclets wake up. Since I worked last night they came running with me this morning. We ran along the Jordan River trail. It is so pretty! I'm excited for many more runs along this trail.

Kaden at 11 months

Kaden loves to climb on, through and in between furniture. Every time he tries to climb through the stools he gets stuck.

He is walking a lot more now but he crawls faster so its still his primary mode of transportation.

He no longer wants to play with toys. He is now checking out the kitchen. This is his, "Am I in trouble?" face.

He is still so happy and easy going.

Picture Fruit Salad

The last month has been so crazy that we have barely kept up. We spent most of our free time in Bountiful fixing up our place, repairing it and cleaning. It has taken over our summer and I have realized that I am not cut out to be a landlord. I would rather work a thousand shifts at the hospital instead of taking care of a rental. I will be having a huge party when we eventually sell our town home.

Here are pictures from the other activities we squeezed in, in the last month.
Chillin at IKEA.

Cuddle time with mom.

Saturday project at Home Depot.

Kaden is so close to walking. He is all over the house and into everything. It's so much harder to baby proof when there are other kids around leaving doors open and small toys out.

Silly James!

Swim lessons for James and Lynnlee.

Checking out the fire truck at Lowes.

More mama time.

Shopping in Bountiful.

I'm so happy we finally found renters. Now the summer can officially begin. Thanks everyone for your prayers for our family! We really appreciated it!
