Last Day of School

First and Last Days of School....

Lowry Girls Weekend

Dellene and Miranda planned a fun weekend to celebrate the combination of their birthdays and ages equaling 100. So we had one great 100th birthday weekend. Marshall is so great for watching the kids so I could be a part of it. I was so spoiled to get a second girls weekend in one month!
I was really sick the week leading up to the 100th birthday weekend. I wasn't sure I would get to go but thankfully I was feeling up for it. I hadn't quite gotten my voice back but at least I could breath.

Friday night we ate at Tucanos and then saw Sense and Sensibility at Hale Center Theater. It was a very interesting style but definitely entertaining.

Since I was up coughing all night all week I decided it would be best not to stay over. I met up with everyone Saturday morning at the hotel for breakfast.

We had a full day of shopping and lunch at Blue Lemon. It was so much fun spending time with my sisters-in-law and mother-in-law. Happy 100th to Miranda and Dellene!

Fathers and Sons

The boys had fathers and sons at the Heber Valley Girls Camp. Taggart was so excited to go camping with the boys.

James didn't have any ward friends there but he took a big book and read in his bunk bed when he had free time.

James, Kaden and Marshall did the big rope swing.

Kaden stuck with his buddy Mason and they had fun together. He ended up coming down with strep Saturday morning right before heading home and was pretty miserable the rest of the day. This is his third time in two months.

Homestead

Ali invited us to have a girls' weekend while the guys were at fathers and sons camp out. We met up at Pizza Galleria.

Then we stayed in a bunk house at the Homestead.
Katelyn and Lynnlee stayed in the bunk bed room.

We tried out the play ground. Lynnlee could not believe there was no slide. I guess in her opinion a play ground is not complete without a slide.

We went swimming.

Saturday morning we walked around and up to the top of the crater.

We finished off the morning with breakfast at my parent's house. Yummy Belgian waffles!
Girls' weekends are so much fun that I think we will make it a tradition every year over fathers and sons.

Random

This is the blog post of random one to two pictures that I don't want to do a blog post for each one but I want them in the blog book.

Kaden and Taggart are realizing they may be two years apart but they have a lot in common. They are starting to play together more.

Sienna trying on my beanie.

The chip bags are pretty creative these days.

This swing is at the park where James has soccer practice. It's really fun to swing with a little buddy.

The minis are going through a mid toddler life crisis. They want to be pushed in their strollers again, mostly Sienna. One morning I took turns pushing them around the cul de sac. Then I went inside and when I came out to check on them this is how I found them.

Taggart and Ollie don't get to play together too often but when they do....
.....they realize they have a lot in common!

Super brothers to the rescue!

James + Walmart merchandise = entertainment

I have no talent when it comes to doing girl hairstyles. I'm working on getting better. Usually my fingers freeze up when I'm french braiding and I give up. Amazingly enough I was able to dutch braid Lynnlee's hair. It takes me forever but I'm so excited I can finally do something different to her hair.
