Temple Wednesday

I missed the Mount Timpanogos Temple when it was closed for a month but it was fun to go to the Provo Temple and Provo City Center Temple. Ali and I went the day before Thanksgiving and it was so enjoyable!

Random Photo Mash

This is the occasional photo dump of all the random photos.
Lynnlee's new favorite hobby is face painting. She painted her friend's face as well as Taggart and Sienna.
Face masks...

Dress ups after church

Minis: "Mom can we get these please?!!"
Mom: "Let's just take a picture instead!"

The kids loved the stuffed animals they got for their Halloween candy. They pretended they were their babies and James made this nice bed for his.

Zzzzzzzzz.......

Seeing kids in adult shoes/boots never gets old.

Kaden had his two bottom teeth pulled to make room for the new ones growing in behind them. He suddenly looks older with his toothless grin.

Primary Program

The primary program was amazing. Our primary presidency has been trying really hard to teach reverence so we can have the spirit during primary. I feel like their hard work paid off. The primary program was so great and the spirit was so strong. The children sat on the stand so reverently. It was  so quiet throughout the meeting. The songs were beautiful and they sang them so well.
I took this picture before. James is wearing fake glasses.

Provo Beach Resort

The UVHBA (Utah Valley Home Builders Association) had a party at Provo Beach Resort. We went for family night and made some great memories. We haven't been there in many years so it was like going for the first time. Marshall, James and Lynnlee started off doing the flow rider. Kaden, the minis, and I watched them and at dinner. It was catered by J-Dawgs so that was awesome!

They rode the carousel, played games and went on the play ground.
We played croquette.

James, Lynnlee, and I did the ropes course. I am so afraid of heights but it's good to do scary things. I was beyond scared the whole time but I did it. James and Lynnlee cruised right through it like it was no biggie.

Happy Halloween with a Peter Pan theme

There are so many fun things to do in Lehi that Halloween seems to last for a week. We went to the Halloween party at the rec center Friday before Halloween. Then Saturday we had our ward Trunk or Treat and chili cook off.
Monday we went to the Pathway office to visit Grandpa and Grandma Lowry and trick or treat. It was fun seeing Rebecca's family!

Tuesday night we carved pumpkins. James did everything himself which is an awesome milestone! Kaden and Lynnlee drew the designs on the pumpkins and I cut them out. They got all of the pumpkin guts out on their own. Taggart and Sienna chose pictures from google and I drew them on and cut them out and they helped clean their pumpkins out. I loved the help. Marshall was at bishopric and it was the only night to squeeze it in before Halloween. So we were sad he couldn't be there.

Halloween night we went to Heber. We filled our tummies with pizza and then started at 6:00. The minis made it a little farther this year. Sienna went back to grandma's sooner than Taggart. He couldn't get enough and went until his bucket was full. They were both so happy and polite. Especially Sienna. She would say Trick or Treat and then Happy Halloween in the most cheerful voice. Sometimes she would say Hope you have a good day! James, Lynnlee and Kaden went to every house in my parent's neighborhood. Then they went to Midway to Kasey's neighborhood. We weighed everyone's candy the next morning. They also had a lot from the ward trunk or treat. James, Lynnlee, and Kaden each had 5 lbs of candy! Taggart had 4 lbs. and Sienna had 3 lbs! 22 lbs total!!! I talked them in to selling it to me and they each got a squishmallow stuffed animal. Then I donated all of their candy to the bishop's office.
We talked everyone into doing Peter Pan this year. James already had the Tic Toc Croc costume. I was going to be Wendy but Lynnlee really wanted me to match her. So I guess we were both Tiger Lily. Marshall made a good Smee and Kaden loved being the boss Captain Hook. Sienna didn't take her costume off the whole week she loved it so much. When Taggart went trick or treating a lot of people confused him with Robin Hood. He always laughed and said I can't believe they think I'm Robin Hood.

Cornbellys 2018

We got passes to Cornbelly's again this year. It's such a fun place that I wish it was open longer. It was really crowded on the weekends so we had fun going for an hour or two here and there on week nights when it worked out. We saw a dog show one afternoon and a circus/thrill show the last week it was open.

My mom took my kids and cousins one Friday while Marshall and I went to the temple.
I took the minis one Friday morning while the others were at school. The minis loved the attention and doing little kid activities the whole time.

One of the lame things about Cornbelly's are the things that aren't included in a regular pass. Thank goodness they give season pass holders a few punch passes to try out some of the rides not included normally. The lines had been long most of the season so we hadn't used the punch passes. One afternoon I picked the kids up from school and we went straight to Cornbelly's. They got to do all of the rides and use up the punch passes. The weather was warm and it turned out to be a really fun afternoon.

Hee Haw Farms

The minis had their first preschool field trip to Hee Haw Farms. It was a cold and cloudy day but thankfully not rainy. My friend Penny is their teacher and she's so fun and good with all of the kids. They weren't a fan of the petting zoo but loved the big slide and bumpy hayride.

Fall Break

Fall Break was unique this year. Marshall planned on taking Kaden and James hunting for a majority of the break but some bishop duties took priority.
Thursday I took the kids to Funtopia. We finished reading the Book of Mormon as a family and it was their reward. I forgot my phone at home unfortunately and so I have no pictures.
Here is a stock photo so you can see what a fun place for kids.

Friday we went with aunt Pat to the Bean Museum and then to the BYU Creamery.

The boys went hunting Saturday so Lynnlee, the minis and me packed our day full of fun. We started off with swimming at the rec center. It was so fun and felt warmer compared to when we go at night.

We had lunch at Waffle Love. Lynnlee was so excited to eat there. She has wanted to go there for a long time.

Then we went to a newer park in Saratoga Springs. Lastly we went to the dollar theater and saw Hotel Transylvania 3. As far as cost goes it was pretty inexpensive and it was nothing fancy or amazing but they all loved the day. Throughout the whole day they kept telling me thank you. As a parent you enjoy doing nice things for your kids when they appreciate it. I felt appreciated and loved spending the day with them.

Marshall and I have been married 13 years! Saturday was the official day but we went out to dinner a week before. We did our traditional chocolate fondue dessert Sunday night as a family. Yum!

Our school had Monday off for fall break too. We went to Antelope Island. Marshall wasn't able to get off of work sadly. My mom came with us and was great company.

I haven't been there since I was a kid. The water is so low. It was a very long walk from the parking lot to the water, at least a half mile. Once there everyone played in the sand and water. It wasn't as salty looking as I remember. I hope to go back next summer when it's warm enough to swim.

This is the view looking towards the lake from the parking lot. It was a long walk and hard for lots of little legs. While we were there a bus came with some Chinese tourist. A few of them took pictures with the kids. :0 They felt pretty special. :)
