Creamery on 9th

On a gloomy day sometimes you just need to get ice cream. Even better was that Marshall could meet up with us for a sec.

Story Telling Festival

I got to be a chaperone for the first time. James's grade went to the Timpanogos Story Telling Festival. This year it was held at Thanksgiving Point. It was a beautiful day. The stories were so entertaining. It was easy keeping track of a bunch of fourth graders when they are all sitting and listening to stories.

Rapunzel

You will find Sienna in a princess dress most of the day. I love this picture Marshall took of her.

Brunch

Now that the minis are in preschool I was pretty excited to meet a friend at Kneaders without kids. I found out preschool was cancelled a few minutes before so the minis ended up coming along. I was so worried they would be crazy all over the restaurant. Miss Orem came when we were half way through eating. Sienna was mesmerized. Miss Orem invited Sienna and Taggart to sit with her. They loved it and behaved very well.

Random Bedtime Pics

My mom helped me make night gowns for Lynnlee and Sienna. The expression on their faces shows how they felt when they put them on.

Taggart wanted a picture too.

James entertained the minis by making double burritos.

Lynnlee saved up and got a little travel set for her doll. Now they have matching neck pillows.

Scripture time brings out the sillies most nights. So this was a rare moment when Taggart sat like this the whole time.

A few nights later he and Lynnlee were being goofy. At first I was going to be frustrated and then I decided to take a picture and enjoy the fact that they get along so well.

This was also another rare moment that only last long enough to get a picture. Normally Sienna is running around all over the place.

Labor Day

For Labor Day we talked about going to the Uintahs for a hike to get away from the crowds in the Wasatch Mountains. When Monday morning rolled around we didn't have the energy to drive that far. We decided to just face the crowds and pick a close hike. We decided to hike to the Y. We've never done it as a family and the minis haven't really every hiked.

Everyone did great. The minis only needed carried twice.

We took pit stops at every turn.

We had a bag of suckers that we pulled out for the last half. It is a steep hike and everyone needed a little boost.

We had lunch at the top and had fun playing I Spy.

We came home for nap time and enjoyed some down time. Then we went to Highland Glen pond and had a picnic dinner. The crowds weren't so bad at that time of day. We have loved borrowing my parent's kayaks. James, Lynnlee and Kaden had so much fun paddling around the pond.
We saw a family from our ward there. Lynnlee had fun giving their daughters, who are close to her age, a ride around the pond.

Wibit

Heber has always had a pool but it was not the nicest. Now they have a really awesome new aquatic center with really fun obstacle courses called Wibits. There is a big one in the lap pool and a smaller one in the kid pool that the minis can do. It is so much fun! I felt like a kid again.

MTC Openhouse

We went to the MTC open house and were amazed. What a awesome place to start a mission. Marshall took this picture of James and hopefully we can take another one in this same spot in 9 years.
