Thanksgiving

I haven't had time to blog lately. I wanted to put some pictures up from the last 2 weeks. Finally this morning I have time while James is taking a nap and Marshall is playing football. Since it is Thanksgiving I'll tie it in with that.

I'm so thankful for good friends. We love to go to the zoo. James and I went with our friends Chelsea and Benson. It was a little chilly but actually really nice for this time of year.

Thanks Chelsea and Benson for going with us!

I'm also thankful for James. He loves to play outside and we try and get out everyday so he can run around. He loves to run through the leaves.

I'm thankful for family. James loves to play with his cousins who are just 6 months older. We went to Marshall's Grandparents house to watch the BYU game last week. James, Lily, and Kjersti had fun playing.

I'm thankful for snow. James tried out his new snow boots on Monday. Whenever we go outside he loves to run around this tree. He looks so small underneath it.
We've been teaching him Ring-a-Round a Rosie. Now whenever we say "all fall down" he stops what he's doing and rolls on the ground. It's so funny to watch. He had fun rolling around in the leaves.

I'm also thankful for Marshall but since this blog is all about James and baby #2 we'll leave it at that. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

More Fall Fashions

As said in an earlier post, James is starting to fit in some of my oldest brother's toddler clothes. Sunday we tried out this sweet vest and suit jacket. It's a little big but I'd rather have him wear it before he grows out of it.

Lowry Family Reunion

This past weekend we had our first annual Lowry family reunion with all of Marshall's siblings and families. Thanks to Beckie's husband Anthony, we had an awesome cabin to stay in, in Oakley, UT.

Friday night we took a picture of all the grandchildren in age order...well we thought we had it in the correct order until we realized James was suppose to be 2nd to last. We tried switching him around and he wouldn't sit still for another picture so this was the best we got.

Since we won't all be together over Christmas we exchanged gifts that night. We got these warm, fuzzy hats and Russian dolls from Marshall's parents.

Saturday we all took it easy.

James loved running around outside. Him and Kjersti had fun on this saddle.
The guys played horse shoes Saturday morning and so the girls got to go play that afternoon.

Miranda had some great moves.

Beckie taught us the correct technique.

Olivia's technique was very graceful like an ice skater.

I looked the same after every throw....nothing exciting.

We couldn't help but take some cheesy tree shots.

The game ended up in a tie. We didn't make Bonnie play since she's 8 months pregnant but we had to get a picture with her in it.

Here's our victory shot :)

Meanwhile Marshall was suppose to be taking care of James. Actually James was taking a nap so Marshall and Gavin fell asleep on the couch.

There was plenty to keep the kids entertained.

They were so tired by Saturday night they were happy watching a movie. It's not very often James will sit and watch a show.
The weekend was so much fun I hope we do it again next year!

Are We Having a Boy or Girl?

I don't have my official ultrasound for another 3 weeks but we were so anxious to find out what we are having. Luckily my brother-in-law just happens to be a manager over an OB/GYN clinic. We were able to go in today and have a quick peak at our little one. Here's what we found:

The view is from her bottom with her legs sticking out. Thanks to Marshall for keeping her modest :) We are so excited to have a baby girl!

Halloween

We've had fun celebrating Halloween this past week. Tuesday night our ward had a Halloween dinner and carnival. James was a puppy. Marshall and I weren't going to dress up but at the last minute we decided to be crayons.

Me and James with our friends from the ward.

We went spent Halloween in Heber at my parent's house. Grace and Sid had great costumes.

James went trick-or-treating in this car. It doesn't get much better than being pushed around to people's houses for candy.

By the end of the night he was reclined, eating a sucker, and relaxed as one can be.

We stopped by to see our friends the Pulver's. (Mom and Dad-this picture is for you!)

It was a fun night. I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!
