Lynnlee's 7th Birthday

Lynnlee had a Shopkins birthday party with her friends last Saturday. I made a Kooky Cookie cake.

Marshall made this awesome poster for Pin the Lips on Lippy Lips.

I found a cupcake pinata at Walmart and added the face.

Then I decorated the house with Shopkin's colors.

Lynnlee invited friends from our neighborhood, school and church. I'm glad the weather was warm so we could have a lot of games and activities outside. We played lots of party games. Cake walk was one of the first games.

We also played pie face...

Donut on a string...

There were extra donuts so James and Taggart got to play. Sienna was napping and Kaden was at the neighbor's birthday party.

The girls crowded into the corner while Lynnlee opened presents.

Everyone ate their cake and ice cream outside.  I loved see this when I came outside.
We finished off with the pinata. It was a successful party!

It was a fun birthday weekend. This post is a little out of order but Saturday morning before the party we went to Beauty and the Beast. Some realtors rented out the theater and thanks to Ali we got to go.
Marshall  and James came too but they had to leave early for James's soccer game.

That night we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. It's our kids' favorite and they like to call it The Peanut Place. The kids had a good time but Marshall and I remembered why we haven't taken them out to a sit down restaurant  in a long time. I think we each took kids to the bathroom three times and the minis switched seats every few minutes. It was exhausting 😀
The important thing is that the birthday girl loved it and was happy getting all the attention.

Her actual birthday was Sunday so the partying continued that day. She really wanted a narwhal stuffed animal.

Grandma and Grandpa Lowry joined us that night for dinner, cake and ice cream. It was a great birthday weekend. We love Lynnlee so much and are so grateful for her good health.

St. Patrick's Day '17

We love our St. Patrick's Day shirts from my mom. It makes our day festive. We happened to have Lucky Charms so we had that for breakfast.

I also attempted a fun hairstyle for Lynnlee. Thank you YouTube! Lynnlee asked how people knew how to do hair before YouTube?! 😂😂😂

Jazz Fans

Betsy gave us tickets to the Jazz game. We took James and Lynnlee. James was so funny in the beginning with his hood and sunglasses on. It was like he was a famous person trying to stay incognito.

Right after we took this picture the blimp dropped a gift card in front of us.

By the end James was dancing and cheering with his Jr. Jazz jersey and sweat bands.

Kids of the Neighborhood

The minis are pretty entertaining when they are getting along. They are best buddies.

We had a cousin sleep over two weekends ago while Ali and Dan were in China.

That same weekend the weather was warm and beautiful. Kaden, the minis and I played at the park while Marshall, Lynnlee and James were skiing.

We have had a lot more picnics lately. We love spring!

Crazy Hair

Kaden had crazy hair and crazy sock day at preschool. He liked the idea of coloring his hair but he didn't like it once I started spraying it. He ended up being ok with it since it was for preschool.
His socks are from the Halloween costume box. I like how it makes him look like tiger legs.

Narwhals

James and Ryan presented their presentation on Narwhals at the research challenge yesterday.
Marshall helped them put together a really fun video. You can watch it here.

Magician Show

Katelyn performed a magic show at the February birthday party. It was very entertaining.

Then the girl cousins made Shopville with their Shopkins.

Taggart's Babes

Taggart has a new boy baby to go with his girl baby. They are his twins that he carries around and puts in his bed at night.

These babes are also cute. Sienna wanted a piggy back ride and Lynnlee was happy to please.

BYU Gymnastics

The pass of all passes is pretty great. We went to a BYU gymnastics meet on Friday night. Drew and Katelyn came too. It was a lot of fun but also madness and chaos with seven kids. The minis just wanted to run around. Kaden was really grumpy. At times we were wondering if it was worth going but Lynnlee loved it. She thanked us over and over for taking her.
