Lynnlee's 6th Birthday

I have said this before but I have always loved celebrating birthdays. Birthdays were a big deal in my family and it was fun to feel extra special. We celebrated Lynnlee's birthday with our family and Marshall's parents the day before. We went to Hang Time which Lynnlee chose because it was the school's fundraiser there. It was nice to support the school and celebrate.

I didn't get pictures of Lynnlee at Hang Time which is too bad because she had a really good time! I did snap these of the minis.

We went to Wendys after so we could Skype our friends from Japan. We enjoyed frostys and fries while Marshall and his parent's talked on Skype.

Lynnlee requested donut holes in bed. She opened her presents too.

She had just enough time to put together her Lego set and then we went to the Lehi Easter Egg hunt.
Everyone used their manners and there was no crying, pushing or egg stealing. It was very enjoyable. The minis understood it more than last year and had fun picking up some eggs. Kaden went for all the yellow eggs. I think he thought they were golden eggs.

You can never have too many pictures of the birthday girl. She was happy all day and told me how special she felt.

We went to Heber for the rest of the day. We had our annual Easter Egg hunt at my parent's house. The weather was great! The kids had a good time. They all found some eggs and then helped the minis find their eggs. I love how well they all get along.

This was taken on the drive to Heber. The minis were tickling each others feet.

The kids took turns on the swings after the hunt ended.

Lynnlee remembered getting a picture with Ali last year when we celebrated their birthdays. She was excited to celebrate with Ali again and wanted to sit on her lap and get a picture.

I love how sweet all of the cousins are with each other. The older ones play with the younger ones. The girls spent some time drawing pictures and listening to music. It made Lynnlee's day complete.

Farm Country

Every few Fridays a group of moms from my neighborhood get together at Thanksgiving Point. We rotate which venue we go to. We went to Farm Country this time. It was fun but it was very cold and windy.

Lynnlee asked for a picture by the cow and then posed all on her own. She is such a cutie.

Our neighbor friends also were the ones Kaden played Itty Bitty Ball with. Lynnlee and Liam's brother, Brennan became good friends at Itty Bitty Ball. They had a lot of fun together at Farm Country.
Brennan is a heart hero like Lynnlee. His heart defect is called Tetralogy of Fallot. It is the same defect that the famous snow boarder Shaun White has. I met Brennan's mom at a luncheon for mom's of children with heart defects. That was years ago when we lived in American Fork. Brennan's grandma lived in our ward in American Fork and Marshall was her home teacher. When we moved to Lehi we just happened to move down the street from Brennan's family.  So it's pretty fun that Lynnlee and Brennan have become such good friends!

They are spoiled to get to ride the ponies every time. I would have loved that as a kid.

Lynnlee went to kindergarten after and the rest of us took naps. Kaden napped like this. I think he must have been pretty tired.

St Patrick's Day '16

I scrambled to get everyone dressed in their St. Patrick's Day shirts before James left to school. The minis did not like being rushed. Sienna was too busy taking Lynnlee's purple Crocs on and off.

I took the purple Crocs away and Sienna was pretty mad about it. Taggart was still mad about being rushed through breakfast.
Sienna cooperated once we went outside when James left to the bus.
Wearing our shirts from my mom is about the extent of our St. Patrick's Day fun. We also had green milk but I'm not a fan of leprechaun traps and naughty leprechauns. I can barely keep my house clean with my five little wanna be leprechauns so I don't need to make messes on purpose.

Itty Bitty Ball

Kaden participated in Itty Bitty Ball the last few weeks. They cover soccer, baskeball, football, baseball and volleyball. He loved it! Lynnlee, the minis and I had fun watching him each time.

I'm too cheap to pay for the pictures and so Lynnlee took this picture of Kaden's team.

Kaden going on the roller board brought back memories. I loved playing on roller boards when I was in elementary school!

Kaden had two buddies from the neighborhood on his team. Hunter is to the left of him and Liam in the red shirt.

Zootopia

We loved Zootopia and it was way better going with cousins!

Research Splash

James and Lynnlee took the opportunity to participate in a research project at school. They had presentations last week. Here is a picture of the group they met with to show their presentations.

James chose to research hamsters. He made a board with facts and pictures for his presentation.

Lynnlee made a video with Marshall's help. It turned out really cute. You can find it on YouTube.

There was a recognition night a few weeks after their presentations. Each student was given a certificate and medal for their research project.

James and his friend Cooper.

Brothers

I love sights like this!

Weekly Minis

The minis are twenty months old. There is not a slow moment in their day. They play together, laugh together, fight, are picky eaters and would live outside. I try to be outside with them as much as I can when the weather is decent. One day we were out for five hours and I still couldn't get Taggart to come in at dinner time.

Our new bedtime routine is rocking and singing songs. Their favorite is Popcorn Popping.

Bath time happens every few nights. They like it but they are always happy to get out after five or ten minutes.

Some babies go to bed with bottles. The minis go to bed with toothbrushes.

Taggart can go really fast on this little car. He knows how to pump his legs back and forth. He can make it across the cul-de-sac within a minute.

Sienna may be younger than Kaden but she is very motherly. She fed him his dinner a few nights ago.
