James's Unbirthday

Since James has a summer birthday he got to pick a day to celebrate with his class. I took donuts to his class last week and they all sang to him. It was fun to see how excited he was.

Lynnlee and Kaden

Lynnlee and Kaden are always asking me to take their pictures. They are my main buddies since James is gone all day to school. The minis take two long naps during the day so I get to spend time with these two.

James and Lynnlee did swim lessons but Kaden wasn't old enough. He had a really hard time watching them and not jumping in. There were a few times he tried or got really close to the edge.  On the last day he put his feet in, shoes and all. I guess he just couldn't stand it any longer.

Lynnlee got a free ice cream cone for her birthday from our pediatrician. She and I went out together. It was a lot of fun spending one on one time with her. She was so tough at her kindergarten check up and didn't even flinch when she got her shots.

Sunday Minis and Easter Best

I decided to give my kids their new Easter outfits today since next week is general conference.

Babies

I was looking at baby pictures and decided it would be fun to show a picture of all my kids at the same age. Each is around 9 months old.

Silly Kids

I taught James and Lynnlee how to play Monopoly. It was funny to see their personalities with how much money they wanted to spend to buy properties. Lynnlee bought everything she landed on and James didn't want to spend his money. This is so opposite of real life. Anytime James has money he is always looking for the next thing he can buy.

We couldn't get by without a second baby swing so Sienna now has one too so they can be outside swinging at the same time.

They all got cans of silly string in their stockings on Christmas. They didn't use them since it had to be outside so finally on a warm afternoon they had a silly string fight. Kaden hated it! He was not strong enough to spray his own can and he couldn't get away fast enough from James.

That night they were still feeling silly and they decided to stuff pillows in their pajamas.

They didn't have school one Monday a few weeks ago so we went swimming to the new addition at the Orem pool. Here are their silly faces before.

The minis are transitioning to table foods. They loved the broccoli trees!

They loves standing and seem to get bored with their play table. The couch is the next best alternative. I put toys on it or James and Lynnlee provide the entertainment.

Sunday Minis

Our cute little minis are keeping us on our toes. Sienna used to be content crawling around the family room but now she is starting to explore the house. I'm constantly walking around making sure there are no choking hazards. Who needs a Roomba when you two babies to clean up the crumbs off the floor. :)  Tag can crawl but only goes backwards. They are so cute to watch. James, Lynnlee and Kaden are so entertained by them. Lynnlee and James are their babysitters and tells me where they are and if they are getting into trouble or somewhere they shouldn't be.

Sienna is becoming vocal and says "dada" and tonight Taggart started saying "mama." It's so cute!
It's getting harder to get a picture because they don't want to sit still for very long.

I'm not sure what he's doing but while Sienna was crawling away this was his pose.

Taggart had his two bottom teeth come up this week. Sienna's came in a few weeks ago and are really visible now.
They are sick again but seem to be handling it better this time around thank goodness!

Lynnlee Turns 5

Lynnlee turned 5-years-old last week! I think her birthdays mean more to me because of her heart condition. I am so thankful to live in a country with modern medicine! It's amazing to think she only has half a heart. You would never guess that or even be able to tell. She is just like any other 5-year-old. I love her so much and am so grateful she is doing so well.

We started off celebrating her birthday with my family. My mom made this beautiful cake and Betsy decorated it. They did a wonderful job!

Ali has a birthday in March so she was included in the celebration too and I got the cutest picture of the March birthday girls.

Lynnlee got breakfast in bed on the morning of her birthday. She chose donuts which seems to be the popular pick for my kids even though they can choose any breakfast. I worked the night before so I was grateful she chose something easy I could pick up on my way home.

Sienna shares a room and was happily playing in her crib while Lynnlee opened her presents. We put Tag in with her. I can't even imagine if they still shared a crib. They would probably roll over each other all the time.

Lynnlee loved the special attention she got at preschool for her birthday. I got to volunteer that day and it was really fun to see all of the fun things she does at school.

Lynnlee wanted to eat at IHOP and go to Kangaroo Zoo. Lynnlee and Kaden are picky eaters so it was nice to go to a place where they like the food.

The minis liked the pancakes too.

These three ran around and played for an hour straight and were exhausted by the time we left.

They were so full still and tired from running around that they didn't even want dessert. We still sang to her anyway and then tucked everyone into bed.

It was another successful birthday for this cutie! Here's to another great year!

Green Team

St. Patrick's Day started out with green colored milk and pancakes for breakfast. James and Kaden liked them but Lynnlee was not a fan. I tried explaining to her that it was just coloring and not flavoring but that did not change her mind.

Then I really wanted a picture of all my kids in their cute St. Patty shirts provided by my mom. I knew I would have to get the picture before school because it would be too busy later in the day. It was so crazy getting everyone ready before James caught the bus. Thankfully this pictured turned out ok because it took a lot of sweat. Well worth it though. I love my green team and wouldn't trade them for anything!

One Random Day

There is a place in Orem that sells British food and I've always wanted to check it out. When my aunt lived in London she always brought us the best treats so I wanted to see what this store had. My mom and I checked it out a few weeks ago after taking Tag to get suctioned. I could have bought everything there but limited it to just a few treats. Smarties in England are nothing like the Smarties here. They are more like M&Ms but way better.

That afternoon I helped Lynnlee and Kaden build a tiny snowman with the patch of snow left in our front yard. This sums up about the only time we played in the snow all winter. Even though I would have liked to go skiing, I really enjoyed the warm winter. I didn't mind that we didn't get to go sledding and have snow ball fights this year.

At bedtime we were entertained by James and Lynnlee. They were pretending to be bugs.

Monsters Under the Bed

No monsters under this bed, just a cute baby girl.

Funny Kaden

Friday night we were in my parent's drive way loading up the car to head home and a car full of teenagers drove by and yelled something at us. Marshall was buckling Kaden and says to me, "You still got it." Then Kaden says, "Yeah mom, you still got it!" He is definitely the funny guy and entertainment of the family. He is always making us laugh.

I took these pictures earlier that day when he was riding around the cul-de-sac.

He has figured out how to pedal the trike. Woo hoo!
