Real Monarchs

You can't find a better pass than the Pass of all Passes. We went to the Real Monarchs game Monday night with our passes. We had seats close to the field and in the shade.

We have been watching the show Random Acts on BYU TV. A few days after going to the game we watched an episode where they surprised a man with tickets to a Real game. My kids thought it was so cool seeing the stadium where we had just been.

This was our half time selfie.

Heart Healthy

Lynnlee had her annual check up with her cardiologist. Her EKG and check up went so well that she didn't need an echocardiogram. Oh how grateful we are for her excellent health!

Cub Scout Day Camp

James participated in his first cub scout day camp. They went to the Porter Rockwell camp in Lehi. It was two full days of carving, rope tying, archery, games, and crafts.

Hiking the Y

James wanted to hike the Y fast and it worked out that we could go with Ali and Katelyn. We hiked quicker than last time but I think he forgot how steep it is.

The trails was being remodeled last summer and it is all complete now. There are lots of helpful, informative signs along the way. At the top there are benches and picnic tables.

Collier Family Reunion

We left Bear Lake Saturday and went to Smithfield for the Collier family reunion. It was a fun filled day of activities and meals. It is not easy planning those but I'm so grateful they do so my kids can meet their second cousins.

James showed the minis the dab.

The minis love babies but aren't around them much so it's really fun to watch them.

Grandpa and Grandma Collier are amazing. They are so happy and great examples of enduring.

Bear Lake Family Vacation

We were so lucky to get to spend a week at Bear Lake. We stayed at Ideal Beach and had a fun condo to stay in, grass to play on, play ground, beach, and a really warm pool. The high for the week was 74 so we didn't swim in the lake but had fun with all of the other activities. On the warmest day we paddled the kayaks around the shore. We spend a majority of the time in the really warm pool. It felt so nice we never wanted to get out.

We played in the sand when we weren't in the pool. Lynnlee built this sand castle the night we got there and it was still there in the morning.

This is the view if you walked straight out to the sand from the back of our condo.

There was a big pool, a kiddie pool and a hot tub.

Every morning I went out for a bike ride and sometimes a run. The views were beautiful.

There was a place for everyone to sleep. The girls shared a queen bed in the bedroom. The boys had the family room. James was happy to have the couch.

The hammock was stretchy. It's hard to see in the picture but Kaden is a few inches off the ground.

There is a fish pond two miles away. We went on a family bike ride to see it.

There was a swing set and this for a play ground I guess.

The minis loved the kiddie pool!

The main store/rental office had chess, ping pong, and a toddler play area.

It was a very relaxing week. Eating, sleeping, and swimming.

Another view one morning.

Thursday we changed things up and went to the Minnetonka cave. The cave is 40 degrees so everyone wore pants and a sweatshirt.
It is a really cool cave! It's a half mile in. I was happy with my kids for walking through it and the minis only needed carried a few times.
Then we hiked another trail after in the same canyon. We saw a lot of purple butterflies along the way and Sienna loved them. She said, "I have to have them!"

I took food for all of the meals but ended up going out one night. Luckily we were the only ones in the restaurant because everyone was bouncing off the walls.

Beckie's family stayed Thursday and Friday. It was so fun to hang out and have cousin time.

Marshall gets extra points for packing the trailer with our bikes, kayaks and coolers. It was not an easy job.

Soccer Season

Soccer season wrapped up at the end of May. It was fun watching them each improve and understand the game more. They all play defensive positions better than offensive positions.
James has really improved his long kicks. One game the field was a little shorter and wider. James had some great long kicks and ended up scoring three goals while playing defense.

Lynnlee played really hard and was great at defending the goal and getting the ball down the field.

Kaden had fun playing on a team with some friends.
