Mash Up of Summer Pics

We filled our summer with so much fun! We swam at aunt Jill's for family night in July.

We took Katelyn and Drew to Neptune park so they could experience the unique play ground.

Taggart took this with my phone while we were eating at Pizza Pie Cafe. Sienna's face makes me laugh everytime.

Lynnlee went to Grandma Camp for four days with five of her girl cousins.  She had the best time. They went to temple square, played games, studied the scriptures, and learned how to cook.
 Sunday they visited Grandpa Collier.

We went to the Lehi Outdoor Pool on Pioneer Day with Ali and Drew and Penny and her kids.

Nine Square is a new favorite game. It's fast paced and lots can play.

We had a bake sale while staying in Heber for James's soccer tournament. Marshall was at High Adventure camp so it was fun to have something to do to stay busy. they called it Cousin's Treats and Sweets. I made peanut butter bars and Swig sugar cookies. We made Country Time strawberry lemonade. The kids put out my mom's claw machine with taffy in it. You could pay a quarter to have three tries with the claw. They made $90! There were some very generous customers who paid $20 for one item!

Lynnlee is our little artist. She went to a painting birthday party and did a great job on her canvas!

We woke up one Saturday morning at decided to go to Cherry Hill. Normally we would camp but we had something every weekend so that wasn't an option. Marshall had one passes so we knew we had to make time to go and use them. So spur of the moment we went the second he got back from high adventure camp. He was tired but a good sport to go. Drew got to come with and even out our numbers. It was probably my favorite time so far at Cherry Hill.

As bishop Marshall gets invited to a lot of weddings. So we are teaching the kids wedding reception etiquette.  One reception was at the North Hampton House in American Fork. This was so beautiful we had to get a picture.

My mom has done Grandma Cooking and Crafts most weeks during the summer. They painted, made slime, leather tooling, made rock candy, snack mix, and so many I can't remember it all. They made lots of good memories.

We have spent many nights playing on this playground while James is at soccer practice.

Utah Arsenal FC Tournament

James had so many soccer tournaments this summer. One of them was the Utah Arsenal FC Tournament. They took 2nd place!
His team has come a long way. They started playing together in June and had to start from square one. They didn't do too well at the Surf tournament in June. They played much better together at this tournament.

Steels Days Kids Race

James and Kaden ran the American Fork kids race. It has been a few years and so it was fun to be back.

James was first out of everyone. We realized it is a little too easy for him and next year he should do the 5k.

Kaden stayed strong and ran the whole race.

Jennifer's Wedding

My cousin Jennifer's wedding reception was at Garden Park Ward. The kids and I went without Marshall because he was at youth conference. His schedule has been way busier this summer now that he's bishop.
I wasn't too worried about the pond and the minis since its only a foot deep. I didn't give the minis a good pep talk before going there about standing back from the pond. While I was eating dinner Taggart, Sienna, and Kaden were standing on the edge of the pond. Taggart accidentally pushed Sienna in and she was wet from head to toe. Thankfully it was a very hot day and there were huge fans so Sienna dried off before we headed home.

The reception had yummy food, a candy table and a kids activity table. Everyone was in heaven.

Lynnlee lined up to catch the bouquet. She didn't catch the bride's bouquet but she did catch the mini bouquet. It was thrown by the groom's daughter.

Kaden got carried away with the stickers at the kid table.
It was a really fun night and my kids didn't want to leave. We stayed to see them cut the cake, danced along with everyone else, and blew bubbles to send the bride and groom off.

Hogle Zoo

We have been on the go all summer. We went to the zoo with Grandma Lowry and cousins the week we got back from Florida.

It was a hot day so everyone cooled off at the splash pad.

Florida Family Fun Part 2

We celebrated Taggart's, Sienna's, and Kaden's birthdays. They were sound asleep when we woke them up singing to them.

They are so excited to be 4!

We went to Venice beach so we could collect sea shells. Red Tide was bad there and we saw lots of dead fish on the shore. We didn't stay too long because of this.

It also looked like this storm was coming. It ended up going north instead and so we swam in Uncle Joe's pool. It was so fun all hanging out and swimming.

We went to Kilwin's for a treat.

A few months apart but these boys look like they could be twins.
The night of the minis birthday we had a birthday party for all three since Ali's family was heading back home the next day. We had cake and ice cream at our pool and swam until it closed.

Kaden's birthday was the next day, Sunday.

We went to the Venice ward for church. Kaden's primary teacher gave him a fish bowl. So thoughtful of her since she doesn't know us or didn't know we would be there.

We had dinner, cake and ice cream at our condo.
 We played some games.

We took a walk to the cove.

Monday was our last full day. We went to the beach until dinner. I thought my kids would be sick of the beach but they didn't want to leave. I'm glad they love it as much as I do.

We all went to dinner at Chilis. The servers couldn't believe all the kids between the two families.

We flew home the next day. It was another direct flight and it went perfectly!
