Fall Fashions

This fall James is sporting two coats that were my oldest brother's when he was a kid. Before my parents went on their mission I helped them go through some old boxes. In one box we found all the clothes my oldest brother wore as a toddler. I was pregnant with James at the time and so I took the box home. James is just starting to fit into some of the jackets. They are pretty sweet.

Fall

I haven't posted in awhile so I thought I would do our past week and a half in pictures. To start off here are some pictures from the Carousel at the Zoo. James had lots of fun with his cousins.

He had so much fun we wore him right out and he fell asleep as soon as we got in the car.

We found a new favorite walking path with this horse who comes over and says Hi to James every time we go by.

He keeps himself entertained.

He loves to go outside and play a couple of times a day.

His pumpkin has become his new favorite pet. He carries it around with him when he's playing outside.

He used to love this jeep when he was 6 months old. Now he climbs in it and all over it.

He loves eating frozen peas for meals.

He watches The Price Is Right occasionally.

I love these shopping carts because he enjoys going to the store too.

We'll be getting this out a lot once it's too cold to go outside.

He loves his puppy.

He had fun playing in the leaves yesterday.

Pumpkin Carving

Last night for family night we carved pumpkins. James got to help this year. Last year he was too little. He had fun helping Marshall draw the face on the pumpkin and then of course Marshall cut it out for him. We love to roast the seeds afterward so we had a couple of bowls out to sort the seeds. James was very helpful in getting the seeds out of his pumpkin and into the bowl.

Cold Weather

It was weird going from hot Florida weather and coming back to cold Utah fall weather. Jameson went from being in a swimsuit all the time to being in his new winter coat all the time.

Luckily he loves his new coat and it keeps him warm when we go walking in the morning.

Family Vacation

Our favorite part of going to Florida was our family vacation. Marshall finished his conference Saturday night. We checked out of the hotel, picked up our rental car, and headed south to Venice, Florida.

Two of my Aunts live there and my Uncle has a condo on the beach where we were able to stay. We got to Venice late Saturday night so we didn't have a chance to walk on the beach but Sunday morning before church we went out on the beach.

This is the pet tiger of the condo. James thought he was pretty cool!

We went to church at the ward my Grandmother used to go to and enjoyed seeing her friends. After we went to my Aunt Donna's for lunch. (in the picture is my Uncle John, cousin-Margaret, Aunt Donna, Aunt Debbie, and Uncle Joel).

That night we drove to Siesta Key and saw the sunset. It is my most favorite beach in Florida. James fell asleep in the car on the way there and slept through the whole thing.

I realized I had forgotten my swimsuit at the hotel in Orlando. :( Monday morning we had to go find a replacement so we could go to the beach. Luckily we found one that wasn't too grandma-ish. Luckily since I took most of the pictures I managed to keep my cute grandma swimsuit out of the pictures :)
After we found a swimsuit we spent the day at Siesta Key beach. The waves are smaller and the water is shallow so James loved it.

He had fun playing with this stick in the sand.

I would built sand castles and then he would destroy them. This was the biggest one I could make before he destroyed it.

We decided to bury Marshall in the sand. James thought it was so funny!

He would tackle Marshall's head and throw sand on him.
It was a great day. The temperature was 87 and the water was really warm. That night we had some of my friends from the ward over for pizza and games.

Tuesday we played on the beach outside the condo all day. I was mad at myself for not taking pictures but we did get some video which I will post later. That night my Aunt Donna offered to watch James so we could go to dinner. We wanted some good seafood. We went to Sharky's but they ended up being closed for maintenance so we took some pictures on the pier while we were there.

Then we went to this restaurant called Marker 4. It was right on the bay.

This was our beautiful view. We had a great time. Thanks Aunt Donna for watching James!

Wednesday we played on the beach one last time then packed up. We had to stop at Nokomis Groves on our way back to Orlando. This in an orange grove that makes fresh orange ice cream. It's delicious. We had fun taking some pictures.

James was asleep in the back and we enjoyed our ice cream on our way back to Orlando.

We were able to pick up my swimsuit from the hotel on our way to the airport, thank goodness since it's my favorite swimsuit. James did much better on the flight back home which was nice since we were all tired from the busy week! Thanks Sweetie for a great family vacation!

Sea World

We spent 2 days at SeaWorld. I didn't take as many pictures this time since we just went in July and I took a lot then. Here are some of the pictures I took. Thank goodness James loves being in the stroller because he was in it a lot. Here's near the entrance to the park.

I think this car is so cute!

It seemed like the animals were more active this time so it made it more fun for James. It's hard to see the seal in this picture because it blends in with the rocks.

There are more seals in the middle of the picture but they blend in too well with their surroundings.

This bird joined us for lunch the first day. It was a pesky and fearless bird. It kept stealing Jameson's lunch right out of his hands.

The polar bear woke up right when we got there.
And he came right up to the window to say Hi.

James and I enjoyed some of the rides at Kiddie Land. Although I couldn't get him to smile for the camera.

His favorite snack was an apple.

We spent some time in the gift shop when it was raining. He loved all the stuffed animals.

"Hey this penguin is my size!"

Here's where we spent most of our time. James couldn't get enough of the water and it was 90 degrees both days so it was nice to cool off.
