Lynnlee had a Shopkins birthday party with her friends last Saturday. I made a Kooky Cookie cake.
Marshall made this awesome poster for Pin the Lips on Lippy Lips.
I found a cupcake pinata at Walmart and added the face.
Then I decorated the house with Shopkin's colors.
Lynnlee invited friends from our neighborhood, school and church. I'm glad the weather was warm so we could have a lot of games and activities outside. We played lots of party games. Cake walk was one of the first games.
We also played pie face...
Donut on a string...
There were extra donuts so James and Taggart got to play. Sienna was napping and Kaden was at the neighbor's birthday party.
The girls crowded into the corner while Lynnlee opened presents.
Everyone ate their cake and ice cream outside. I loved see this when I came outside.
We finished off with the pinata. It was a successful party!
It was a fun birthday weekend. This post is a little out of order but Saturday morning before the party we went to Beauty and the Beast. Some realtors rented out the theater and thanks to Ali we got to go.
Marshall and James came too but they had to leave early for James's soccer game.
That night we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. It's our kids' favorite and they like to call it The Peanut Place. The kids had a good time but Marshall and I remembered why we haven't taken them out to a sit down restaurant in a long time. I think we each took kids to the bathroom three times and the minis switched seats every few minutes. It was exhausting 😀
The important thing is that the birthday girl loved it and was happy getting all the attention.
Her actual birthday was Sunday so the partying continued that day. She really wanted a narwhal stuffed animal.
Grandma and Grandpa Lowry joined us that night for dinner, cake and ice cream. It was a great birthday weekend. We love Lynnlee so much and are so grateful for her good health.
