Gingerbread Festival
Saturday we went to the outlets for the gingerbread festival. There was a fun gingerbread scavenger hunt, face painting, and ornament making.

Hallo-Turkey Challenge
We had our annual Hallo-Turkey Challenge where we make turkeys out of Halloween candy. I am blogging about this a year later when we just finished our 2023 challenge. I was looking back on the blog at previous years and had a hard time finding them. I definitely missed documenting this last year. Now that's it's been a year all of the details are fuzzy. No one knows for sure who's turkey is Sienna's and Kade's.

Primary Program
The primary program was a success. It’s strange only having 3 primary kids in the family.

Lowry Cousins
Cam and Brooke came to town and we got to spend an afternoon with them.
James and Jack were best buddies. It was so cute!

Provo Beach Resort
We got to go to Provo Beach Resort for the annual UVHBA party. It’s always a fun time, we get dinner so it’s a nice break, and I love pushing my fear of heights.

Cross Country Race
James’s last race for the season was a cold and wet one. It was a post season race in Pleasat Grove. We were all bundled up and the runners were just in their jerseys. It was so crazy to me that they didn’t dress warmer.
James did a great job!

Home Office
We have only lived in our home for less than a year and have already redone the front room. We decided we needed a home office more than a sitting room.
Marshall was able to get shelves ordered in from IKEA Las Vegas since Draper was all out. We got the desk from Office Depot, and the chairs from Amazon.
The shelves still need to be decorated and organized better but this is how it looks for now.
The timing couldn’t be any better. Marshall is working from home a lot more now so he has a space to himself now.

Halloween
Halloween was great for my kids. They woke up and all got their costumes on. We didn’t have white face paint for Sienna but we did have very white sunscreen that stays white even when you rub it on. So we used that.
Lynnlee’s costume was Sara Sanderson but for school she wore the Power Puff girls sweatsuit.
The Halloween parade was really fun!
Aunt Betsy was a life saver for trick or treating. She took the minis around. Kade went with friends.
James and his friends had a party.
Lynnlee and her friends went trick or treating for a bit and then hung out at Brooklyn’s.
Marshall handed out candy. I unfortunately had bowel prep for a colonoscopy. I didn’t plan the timing but had to go with that because it was the only opening for months. It was quite the memorable Halloween for me drinking clear liquids all day and then bowel prepping all night.
