La Roca teams at RSL

Tag and Kade each did well at the 7Elite Tournament so their teams were invited to do some pretty fun things at the RSL game. Kade got to hold the RSL flag.

Marshall and Tag sat with Tag's team. Kade sat with his team on the other end of the stadium. 

Tag's team got special jerseys from RSL to wear while they walked the team out and also to keep.

 

Family Ski Day at Park City

We had a family ski day on Friday because there was no school. James couldn't go because he had a soccer game to get ready for. Luckily he used his pass and skied with Marshall a few weekends ago. Skiing in March is nice because it isn't too cold and it was a powder day.

We like skiing Boa which is a nice long blue run that everyone can do. 

James on Lehi Boys Soccer Team

James made the high school soccer team!!! We always have high hopes and believe he will make it but it's been a different coach every year so we just never know. It's been a really great experience so far for the first two weeks. There's team lunches, strict standards, and great support as a team. They seems more cohesive and unified compared to last year.

There is an Instagram account for Lehi Boys soccer. They are going to spot light each boy so I was looking through old pictures James. 

James has played varsity the first three games. He got to start two of them and he got a lot of playing time at one of the games. He played so well and was needed. So far they won one game and lost two games.

Friday night we wore our snow clothes and watched in 36 degree windy weather. 

Joanns

Sadly Joanns is going out of business. I got fabric for James's high school blanket there so I knew I needed to go buy Lynnlee's before it closed. Lynnlee came with me and she had the great idea to buy the fabric for everyone. She also helped me pick out the fabric for each one. Our cart was hilarious. I couldn't see over the top. 

Mission accomplished! We bought all of the fabric needed. Now I just need to find time to sew Lynnlee's. I'm not sure when I will sew Kade's, Tag's and Sienna's. 

Kade's Fries

Sometimes you have to do everything for your kids and other times they completely surprise you by peeling a potato, cutting it into fries and cooking them in the air fryer all by himself without any help

Rose's Fall

I have never fallen while running, except in Texas on a trail. I wondered if I would break a wrist or hit my face. Turns out I slide like a volleyball player. I ran on a sidewalk I hadn't been on before. I was looking at the nice trimmed yard and caught a raised up edge of the sidewalk. I was down on the ground before I knew what was happening. Ouch! Thankfully I was wearing gloves so my hands were protected. My favorite leggings were ruined though. I guess I will be making them into shorts.
