I haven't been very good at taking pictures of my kids so I'm trying to be better. One Saturday I was hoping from one game to the next. Tag came with me to Sienna's. So I took this picture of them each in their jerseys. I was fun having Tag cheering on Sienna. We've gotten to the point that they don't go to each other's games so when they do go, it's extra special.

Provo Beach Resort
We received day passes to Provo Beach Resort for Christmas from Grandpa and Grandma Lowry. We used them one night after school and James's practice. We fit in as much as we could in the time we had. It was a little chaotic but still fun!
I only have video from the flow rider but it was definitely the most favorite activity. Cam's family came too so it was fun to watch his girls try the boogie board for the first time. They did great!

Easter
Easter was the weekend of Prom and in the thick of soccer season so it was a busy weekend! The secret is out for the Minis so I asked them if they still wanted the Easter Bunny to come to our house. I also asked the older kids if they wanted to look for their eggs or just receive a basket of eggs. Kade wanted his eggs hidden and Lynnlee and James wanted them in a basket. Saturday morning I took Kade to his soccer game so he looked for his eggs after. We didn't get our traditional picture on the stairs because everyone was on a different schedule. James left to his day date, Lynnlee had a game, and Tag and Sienna stayed home and enjoyed the Easter egg hunt.
Easter morning was nice and peaceful. Everyone slept in. Then we had German pancakes and hash brown patties. We watched The Testaments. It is one of my favorite newer Easter traditions. Lynnlee made this cute cake for Easter dessert. We enjoyed sacrament meeting. Marshall spoke in sacrament meeting for the Easter program and did an amazing job.
We went to Grandma Ruth's for an Easter egg hunt and dinner. It was fun to see everyone as always. Jenny and Jordan came too so that was a fun bonus.

Sisters Lunch
We went out to lunch for Ali's birthday. We went to Aubergine. It was so fun to catch up with Betsy and Ali! We ordered a yummy chicken bowl that was GF. It had a cashew dressing on it. I decided to try it to see if it gave me a headache. Ever since eating GF, things that normally gave me a headache, don't give me a headache anymore. Thankfully it didn't give me a headache! I'm excited to be able to have cashews again!
James's Junior Prom
James had Junior Prom over Easter weekend. He asked Taylin to go with him. The background on Taylin is that I met her mom at a soccer tournament last summer. Taylin's brother Austin and Kade play on the same soccer team. The tournament was the first time Kade played with the team and so I didn't know anyone. Taylin's mom Holly was so nice and easy to talk to so we sat by each other at all of the games. We thought it would be fun for James to ask Taylin out on a date since we felt like kids these days don't date as much. So James asked her out last summer and they went to dinner and played frisbee golf. They've been on a date or two since then. She asked him to be her partner for a dance recital with the drill team. She goes to Skyridge High School which is the other high school in Lehi. So they aren't dating or boyfriend and girlfriend but they are friends so he asked her to prom.
They had a fun day date going up Provo Canyon to a picnic area. They made pancakes and played games. James said it was really fun. They had a few other couples in their group and they all had fun time together.
He picked her up later that afternoon and her family took these pictures.
They went to Dry Creek Park for pictures. I love how they turned out! They had dinner at an Italian restaurant in Salt Lake and then went to the dance at the state capitol.
I thought the photographer did a great job!
They came to our house after for dessert and a movie. James had fun with Taylin being his date. They are good friends so I'm glad it worked out for him to ask her.

Ministering
I made cinnamon rolls for my ministering sisters and Marshall's ministering families. One batch made 6 square pans. I wish I would have taken a picture of the finished cinnamon rolls with the frosting. I made a double batch of frosting and had just a little bit left over. It was perfect!
Dry Creek Art Fair
Dry Creek started having an art fair every April about 4 years ago. It was so fun! Lynnlee, Kade, Sienna and Tag all went with Marshall. As everyone has gotten older, the excitement for the art fair has died down. This year Sienna and I went. She made a pinch pot. showed me her art work, and then we watched the school play, Treasure Island. It was a fun time and I'm glad Sienna and I could go.

Katelyn's Mission Call
Katelyn's mission call came! It came on a Monday night. She opened it around 8:00. James was at work so he couldn't come. The three youngest were exhausted and needed to get to bed. Marshall stayed home with them. Lynnlee went with me to watch her open it. She is going to Hanoi, Vietnam. We all gasped when she said it. None of us expected that! It is a non proselyting mission so she will do service projects, teach English, etc. She leaves July 20th. We are so excited for her!

King of Kings
Andrea had tickets to King of Kings that they weren't going to use. She text last minute and asked if we wanted them. I was at James's game but it worked out for Marshall to take Tag, Kade, and friends. They said it was really good! It is produced by Angel Studios.
After James's game, Sienna went with me to Macey's. She sat in here for a second to see if she could still fit.4.08.2025
Monthly Family Dinner
We went to Heber on conference Sunday. We watched the last session in Heber and then had turkey dinner. My mom had a frozen turkey that needed cooked. Marshall cooked the turkey and we took it to Heber for family dinner. It was a nice family dinner and fun to see everyone!
This cardboard surrounded the vanity my parents bought for the bathroom at the rental house across the street. The cardboard looked like it was made to be a fort. They had fun playing bakery and everyone bought snacks from them with pretend money.

Lynnlee's Permit
We got back from Brian Head early Friday afternoon. She had an appointment to get her permit at 4:10 that afternoon. I'm so happy our appointment wasn't any later because they don't let you take the test after 4:30 because there isn't enough time before closing time. I'm always paranoid about not having the right documents so I always over prepare. I took her birth certificate, passport, social security card, and utility bill for proof of address. It took her two tries to pass the test but hey, at least she did it by her 2nd try. Otherwise we would have had to go back another time.
She and her friends painted these cute fingerprint paintings. Each of them did a finger print on each of their canvases.Spring Break
Spring break exceeded my expectations. I expected slushy and warm spring skiing. Instead it felt like Christmas Break. It snowed everyday. We skied in and out from the condo to the resort. It was an amazing week of skiing. Other bonuses were sleeping in everyday because the resort didn't open until 10:00. We enjoyed dinner and family time after and still got to bed at a decent time. I actually got more than 8 hours of sleep every night and it felt wonderful.
We left Monday after lunch to drive to Brian Head. It was a lazy morning.
We got there at dinner time and met Cam's family at the pizza place at Brian Head. I had a yummy salad and everyone else had pizza and said it was really good. I haven't minded eating gluten free because most of the time I can find a good alternative. James and Wes were buddies. The condo
The condo had a small kitchen, a loft, 3 bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms. It slept up to 12. There was a clubhouse with a large hot tub. For meals, we took turns preparing breakfast and dinner with Cam's family. I planned waffles with strawberries and cream, coffee cake, spaghetti and chili in bread bowls. We ate well!
We got on the slopes at opening Tuesday morning. It was so nice to ski over to the condo for lunch and then get back on the slopes after a quick lunch. Then we skied until is closed. Wednesday and Thursday were pretty much the same schedule. There were 8 lifts but we just stuck to Giant Steps lift because we had so much fun on those runs and the terrain park.
We skied in different groupings throughout the day depending on skill level. I figured out that I'm the second to last slowest skier out of my family. I couldn't keep up with Marshall, James, Lynnlee, Kade and Tag. They just pretty much put their skis straight and fly down the hill without turning, even on blue runs! I like a few more turns than that. Sienna take it the easiest but she was going pretty fast by the end of the week. It was fun to see her improve.
I guess my pictures are out of order. This is from dinner at the pizza place Monday night.
It was cloudy and stormy most of the time but we got a nice view Tuesday afternoon and you could see red rock and plateaus in the distance. It was so beautiful.
James had to get home for soccer practice. He went home Wednesday after skiing with Grandpa and Grandma Lowry. It was so nice of them to come visit, watch Wes while we skied, and take James home. We headed home Friday morning. This was the view down the canyon back home.
It was such a fun spring break! It definitely was easier with older kids.

Music and the Spoken Word
We have been wanting to go to Music and the Spoken Word for the last year. We had church at noon last year and now it is 1:30 so we knew it would work to go to church after. I had it on my calendar for a Sunday in the fall and then I had a meeting come up or something and we didn't go. Then we had it on the calendar again in January and something came up. Then I put it on the calendar in February. I checked the website the night before and noticed that they weren't doing a live broadcast because they were on tour. Haha, glad we figured it out before driving there. Well, I put in on the calendar for today and it actually worked out. The kids weren't too excited about waking up early on a fast Sunday but they were good sports. They also weren't excited to wake up early but it's spring break so they have all week to sleep in. We got there at 9:00 which was perfect. There were still a good amount of benches open and time to take it all in. The music was beautiful and it was cool watching the camera people, and behind the scenes.
