Easter

Easter was the weekend of Prom and in the thick of soccer season so it was a busy weekend! The secret is out for the Minis so I asked them if they still wanted the Easter Bunny to come to our house. I also asked the older kids if they wanted to look for their eggs or just receive a basket of eggs. Kade wanted his eggs hidden and Lynnlee and James wanted them in a basket. Saturday morning  I took Kade to his soccer game so he looked for his eggs after. We didn't get our traditional picture on the stairs because everyone was on a different schedule. James left to his day date, Lynnlee had a game, and Tag and Sienna stayed home and enjoyed the Easter egg hunt. 

Easter morning was nice and peaceful. Everyone slept in. Then we had German pancakes and hash brown patties. We watched The Testaments. It is one of my favorite newer Easter traditions. Lynnlee made this cute cake for Easter dessert. 

We enjoyed sacrament meeting. Marshall spoke in sacrament meeting for the Easter program and did an amazing job.

We went to Grandma Ruth's for an Easter egg hunt and dinner. It was fun to see everyone as always. Jenny and Jordan came too so that was a fun bonus. 

After dinner we went to Andrea's parents house and saw the baby goats. They were so cute!

Kade was there too. I'm sad I didn't get a picture of him holding one. He is the animal whisperer of the family. He loved seeing the goats too.
