Hi my name is Rose and I have an addiction to running races. Last Tuesday a girl from my Wasatch Back team let me know there were some open spots for the Ogden half marathon because she had some friends that had to drop out. I couldn't pass the opportunity by. Ever since I ran the Salt Lake City half marathon I've been dying to run another race. Since the race was Saturday there wasn't time to switch the names and so I ran the race under a different name which was kind of funny but oh well.
The race started in Eden and came down Ogden canyon and finished downtown Ogden. It was a brisk 32 degrees at the start line at 7:00 in the morning and I didn't warm up until about the fourth mile. It was a beautiful run coming down the canyon. This race felt harder to me than last race but I was still hoping to beat my last half marathon time. I missed it by ONE minute!
Marshall and James weren't able to come so I don't have any race pictures but we took this one when I got home.
