We tried something new this year. We went to the Christmas Sing-Along at the Vivint Arena. It's a free event where an orchestra plays Christmas songs and you sing along. A children's choir performed a few numbers. My aunt Jill plays in the West Valley Symphony and they performed there.
We did this as an alternative to walking around temple square in the cold and with the crowds. This was much warmer and easier to keep track of everyone
We went with lots of cousins which makes everything better. Betsy works at the Vivint Arena and was working that night so it was fun to see her.
Then we got ice cream which totally makes sense in the cold winter. Actually ice cream is good no matter how cold it is outside. We usually get ice cream after seeing the lights so we had to end the night right.
