PTA Day at the Capitol

I went to PTA day at the Capitol for my first time with two of my fellow PTA board members. I learned a lot and it refreshed my knowledge of bills and laws and such. Now when I see the news about different things taking place on the Hill I feel like I understand more.

Governor Herbert spoke during the morning session. I think he has been a great governor and I will be sad so see him finish up at the end of the year.

After lunch we met with some representatives from our area. Anyone could ask them questions about any issues and they talked about what they are doing in this year's legislative session to address some of those issues.
