***This post was written in chunks. I included every ski adventure in it for the year instead of doing separate posts for each time. ***
It's ski season and we are finally getting snow!!! Yay! James is pretty spoiled this year with having every Wednesday off from school. So he and his friends get to go skiing on Wednesdays.
Marshall went skiing with Kaden a few weeks ago.
Then I took Lynnlee skiing last week. It was nice for her to practice and have my one on one attention.
Then the next day we all went as a family to Cherry Peak. Marshall and I spent all our time helping the minis so it was nice James, Lynnlee and Kaden could all ski together.
The minis started off on the magic carpet and by the end of the day they were skiing on their own! They said it felt a lot like rollerblading so it was easier for them to balance and turn.
Kade was a little hangry leading up to lunchtime but after getting some food he was much happier the rest of the day.
Cherry Peak is a smaller resort but perfect for beginner skiers. We had a great day! Lily works there so it was fun to see her patrolling around.HUGE thanks to Beckie for watching Chewie! We love having a puppy but it will be nice when he is a little older and can be left at home for the day.

We used our Get Out Pass and went night skiing at Brighton with Charlie's family. It was after daylight savings and so it stayed light until 8:00. It made night skiing that much better. The weather was on the warm side which also helped make it enjoyable. The minis skiing is coming right along.
The last ski adventure for the season was at Deer Valley for Ali's birthday. It was a girls' day in the beginning. As it got closer James suggested that he and Drew come along since they each had a pass that would get them in. They skied with us and it was really fun having James with me. Usually when we ski together I have the minis so I ski the greens and he's skiing the blues and blacks. This time we got to do it all together.
Ali's friends are super nice and fun! I enjoyed getting to meet them.
