We spent our last day with Charlie's family in Provo. Charlie and Angeline took James, Lydia and Ashlyn to do baptisms at the Provo City Center Temple. I took the boys to the park next to the Provo Pool. The playground is newer and unique.
We hiked the Y after. There was a storm in the forecast but we weren't exactly sure where it was going and when. It was hot and sunny when we started.
The storm started to come in when we were almost to the top. I filmed a time lapse and it turned out really cool! We sat at the top for maybe five to ten minutes and the storm rolled in that quickly. We all ran down as fast as we could. Thankfully the first part was just wind. The rain started after we got in our cars.
We said goodbye to Charlie's family and then headed to Kade's soccer game. While driving there we found out the storm had lightning and Kade's game was postponed. I was so excited because I wanted to try Crispy Cone. It was on shark tank and they opened a location in Provo. The second we learned Kade's game was postponed, we stopped at Crispy Cone.
Biscoff was the flavor of the week. It was so good! The cone is homemade right there on the spot. I can't wait to go back!
