Kade was invited to play with another La Roca team at a tournament called Elite 7. Older age groups play in St. George. His age group played in Mesquite. Kade and I were going to be the only ones going. Then Tag asked if he could go. Then Sienna asked if she could go. I feel like the more the merrier. Kade was also good with it not just being me and him. We had plenty of room in our hotel room. So Tag and Sienna got to go with us too.
We got to St. George Thursday afternoon. I was able to swim laps in the pool at the Washington Community Center. Kade, Tag and Sienna played in the other pool.
We went to Freddy's for dinner. It's a burger and shake place. It was ok. Not our favorite but fun to try.
Our motel was in Mesquite and had a pool and hot tub.
Friday the weather was cold and rainy.
We bundled up and stayed warm.
Kade got a lot of practice. They lost their games but he had fun.
We were killing time Friday after lunch. We looked up kid friendly activities in Mesquite. The Donkey History Museum was on the list. We decided to check it out.
It was pretty unique. The rock mining did look fun though.
Friday night Kade got to go to Big Shots which is basically the same as Top Golf. The whole soccer team went together to eat and golf. While he was at his activity I took Tag and Sienna to Chick Fil A and Fiesta Fun.
We didn't have as much time as I thought but enough time to mini golf and for them to play laser tag.
They had fun going from the pool and hot tub Friday night.
Saturday was cold but at least the sun was out.
We headed back home after his last game. Even though they lost every game, it was nice to have an excuse to get away. It was fun spending time with Kade, Tag and Sienna.
They were really great travel buddies!
