Marshall was going to take Kade to Ice Breakers in St. George since I got to go to two tournaments. Then James was asked to guess play. We decided to make a family weekend out of it. We reserved a condo at a favorite called Las Palmas. Lynnlee, Tag, Sienna and I went down Thursday. We stopped in Cedar City to play at an arcade on the Get Out Pass.
It was a pretty small arcade but still fun to check it out.Friday morning I took advantage of a paved trail for my run. It was a beautiful morning.
I have been eyeing the St. George Ironman 70.3. Not signed up yet but thinking really hard about it.
Views from my morning run.
We went to the pool and hot tub after breakfast.
Friday morning Marshall drove down with James and Kade. We met up with them at the Red Cliffs Temple open house. It is the same floor plan as the Saratoga Springs Temple, just different colors and interior decorating. Then we went to the St. George Temple. Marshall and older kids did baptisms. Tag, Sienna and I spent time in the visitors center. We also recreated this picture.
We went out to dinner at Dickey's BBQ. It was a fun night!
We had passes to The Rinq from the Get Out Pass. It happened to be next to Las Palmas. We went skating after dinner. It was a smaller rink but not too crowded so we could still skate a lot.
Saturday morning I went on a long run. Again, the weather was beautiful. It was nice to get out.
During the weekend James and Kade has games at the same time but different locations. We divided and conquered. Friday I went to James's and Marshall went to Kade's. Saturday morning Marshall went to Kade's and I went to James's. Monday I went to Kade's and Marshall went to James's. They lost their games but made the most of it.
Saturday afternoon Marshall, James and Lynnlee went shopping while I took the younger ones to Fiesta Fun. Then we met up at the condo for dinner.
Also on the get out pass was ninja playground. It also happened to be next to Las Palmas.
I had to work but everyone else went and enjoyed the place. I love working from home but it's hard to get my hours in when we are out of town.
Sunday we slept in and went to a ward nearby. We couldn't believe how crowded it was. Everyone vacationing in St. George went to this ward, or so it felt like it. There were so many people it looked like stake conference. There had to have been close to one thousand people. The ward seemed used to it and they had a second sacrament table set up in the gym.
That afternoon we went to a park and also Pioneer Park.
Monday they each had one more game and then we left for home.
