We had a fun week celebrating Betsy's birthday and the 4th of July. Last Tuesday we went to Seven Peaks with all of my family to celebrate her birthday. It was so much fun! I'm realizing how bad I am at taking pictures this summer because I had to get these pictures from Betsy (thanks Sista!). So I don't have any pictures of James at Seven Peaks but he loved it and so did the other kids.
Here is Lucy enjoying the shade. Isn't she cute!
Here's Miriel soaking up some rays. Miriel, James and Lucy were all born within 2 weeks last year. It's fun to see them all when we get together.
Katelyn's cheesy smile.
Some of us taking a break.
We went to the Provo Freedom Parade on Saturday morning. James loved the bands and big balloons that went by. Good thing he enjoyed those because he really didn't get to see any of the floats. We saved seats Friday night and I checked ahead of time to make sure it was along the parade route. Then when we got to the parade we found out they had changed the route that morning and so the floats all started on the next block after us! The bands and large balloons started before us and went passed us but the floats all started on the next block! We were bummed but still enjoyed hanging out.
That afternoon we went swimming in American Fork. That night we went to Marshall's Grandparents house for a BBQ and to watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks. James was so worn out that he fell asleep an hour before the fireworks started so we let him sleep.
