Marshal took James's senior pictures around North Lake Park one Sunday afternoon. Lynnlee went with and helped. I like how they turned out.

MORP
James went to MORP with Lydia one of his friends since 9th grade. They spent the day at Tibble Fork and at a friend's cabin.
All his friends were asked by the girls group that they are friends with so it was one big fun hangout.
Lynnlee's Soccer
Marshall coached Lynnlee's team for spring season. They had an undefeated season. Then they played in the tournament at the end of the season and fought hard. The final game ended in a tie, then went to over time and finished with a shoot out. They lost in the shoot out. It was so sad. They can't forget that they had a great season and remember how far they've come in the last few years.

Sienna's Soccer Team
Sienna finished off the season with the best record since moving to 9v9 two years ago. They have played so well this year and had so much fun. Sienna loves her team and playing soccer. They won their first tournament game and then lost their second game. Sienna played so hard though and was totally locked in. She was a defensive wall and was so aggressive. It was a whole new Sienna I had never seen before. When Marshall asked her what changed, she said she was playing hard for Grandma Ruth. It was the sweetest!
Mom and Sienna
Sienna and I had some extra time one afternoon in between soccer games. Sienna and I hung out on the swing above Lehi Family Park.
James's High School Soccer
James's last season of high school soccer was not what we hoped for in terms of winning games, but his experience playing with his best friends and an amazing coach far outweighed the season of losses. He played varsity, started varsity, only subbed out for about 10 minutes each half, and loved working hard.
There were so many games that came so close to a win but there would be a crazy call by the ref that would change the outcome. Senior night was one of those. We thought for sure we would have the win but the other team pulled it off, thanks to the ref, right near the end. Senior night was held after the game because there were so many seniors. It was a nice celebration. I was in charge of the balloon arch. I was happy with how it turned out.
Now that everyone is older, we haven't made them everyone go to James's games. We did make everyone go to senior night and that was really fun. It was great to have everyone together supporting James.

Rose's 41st Birthday
My birthday was just another day. We had stuff early in the morning, there were practices and games in the afternoon and evening. We were finally all together that night for cake before I had to go to a young women meeting for camp.
Lynnlee was so thoughtful and made a GF chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting. I may have been the only one who enjoyed it but since it was my birthday that was ok. I loved the presents I got from everyone, especially this hat from Kade!
Even though it wasn't a day with lots of fanfare, I felt loved and that is all that matters. I went swimming at the rec center that morning and when you scan your membership card to get it, if it is your birthday, it beeps differently so the workers know. So they all wished me a happy birthday. It was fun!5.03.2026
Mother's Day Pedicures
A few weeks before Mother's Day I was thinking about what I wanted to get my mom for Mother's Day. I couldn't think of an actual gift but instead I just wanted to spend time with her. I thought it would be fun to go out to lunch. Then I thought it would be fun to invite my sisters to join. Then my mom mentioned how she hadn't had a pedicure in a long time so we decided to do that before lunch. Betsy, Ali and I drove up together and picked up my mom. We met Andrea at Heber Nails. We had a wonderful time there. Everything worked out and we enjoyed visiting. Then we drove to a restaurant in Midway where we planned to eat. We had just finished ordering when my came down with a Meniere's episode. We went into action and got her to my car. I drove her home where she got into bed as quickly as possible. She recovered after sleeping it off and taking it easy for a few days. I was glad that everything worked out with the pedicures but I felt so bad that she didn't get to enjoy lunch. Meniere's is such a terrible disease!
