Wonka and Cube Bubbles

The Friday before Christmas was a beautiful morning. I enjoyed the beautiful sky while I was on my run.

We went to Wonka. It was such a good movie. We all loved it so much and the music was fantastic. We bought the album after so we could listen to it more easily.

Tag's advent calendar was a magic tricks/STEM type items. He had pipe cleaners that you connect together to make a cube. Then you dip the cube in soapy water. It made this cool cube.

Quest Holiday Lunch

At first my co worker Cheryl scheduled our holiday lunch on Marshall's birthday. He had the day off so I was feeling really bad about going to my holiday party instead of spending time with him. Thankfully it snowed a lot that day and Cheryl couldn't get safely from her house in Parley's Canyon to Salt Lake. The holiday lunch was postponed for two weeks.

We met at the Dodo in Sugar House. The food was really good!

We clean with Sani-cloths at work. Cheryl is always saying Santi Claus or it sounds like she saying Santi Claus when she says Sani Cloths. It has become a joke. I found this sweater on Etsy and knew I had to get it for Cheryl. My co worker Nicole and I gave it to her. Cheryl's reaction was priceless!

I took Bath & Body hand soaps for everyone. Everyone had little gifts for each other. We played some party games, enjoyed the yummy food and visiting. The only downside was waiting an hour to get a table. Otherwise it was a fun afternoon.

Crazy Hair Day

Taggart and Kade have been growing their hair out for crazy hair day for a couple of months. It was getting so long. Then the day came and it was crazy hair day. This is what they ended up going with. Marshall was the barber.

After crazy hair day Marshall finished off the hair cut.

I feel bad I didn't get a picture of Sienna's hair. We were rushed and running late. She had some curled pieces  some braided pieces throughout her whole hair.

Kade's Christmas Party

Kade wanted to have a Christmas party with friends. Lynnlee had a Christmas party with friends a few years ago and it was simple but fun. We followed a similar format for Kade's.
I used Canva to make the invitation. I love Canva so much. There is no way I could make this on my own.

Kade had a list of games he wanted to play for the party. We went through and played as many as we could. The candy bar game took much longer than we thought. I apparently wrapped it too good. I was so worried about wrapping it enough but I really over did it. Oops!
We had some snacks during the party. Kade gave them each a lego set for a present/party favor. It wasn't real legos but essentially the same thing.

Sealings at Saratoga Springs Temple

We had a special night with our friend Robin. Robin's parents were sealed to each other and she was sealed to her parents. It was a very sweet experience. When we got there we were all so excited. When she gave them her name cards they realized it included a living ordinance and at first they said it may not work to do it that night. Normally living ordinances are scheduled differently and different paper work is necessary from the recorder. Thankfully the temple workers were so helpful and accommodating. They were able to get the paper work quickly from the recorder and make it all happen that night.

Katelyn's Signing with SLCC

Our niece Katelyn has excelled at cross country in high school. She is fast! She was offered a spot on Salt Lake Community College Cross Country team and full ride scholarship. SLCC's cross country team is top in the nation for junior college. They also have a great fashion design program which is perfect for what she wants to do. We got to go to signing day at her high school, Timpanogos. We are excited for her!!!

Christmas Sing along

We went to the Sing Along at the Delta Center. Betsy came with as well as Cam's family. His kids drove up with us. We went to the food court first. I love eating there because there are so many options.

Everyone ate their dinner quickly so we could get to the Delta Center when the doors opened.

We met up with Betsy and got good seats. We took Santa hats hoping it would increase our chances to be on the jumbotron. It worked and we got on the big screen.

James caught it on his BeReal.
