Mesquite Soccer Tournament & California Part 1

We went to Mesquite in January for James's soccer tournament. We were hoping for some really warm weather but it was really windy and chilly. It was beautiful though with the red rock and green fields. His team won their first game and then lost the next two games.

We haven't taken the minis to Disneyland yet and so I thought it would be fun to surprise them and go from Mesquite. We were half way so it made sense. The kids thought we were headed home after the last game. We grabbed some lunch and when it was time to leave Marshall did voice command for the GPS to "navigate to Disneyland." I filmed the whole thing and the kids' reactions were great. James and Lynnlee thought it was a joke, Kaden was speechless. Sienna cheered that she would finally get to meet the princesses. Taggart was about to say I can't wait to meet the princesses but then he stopped mid word-princess- and said Mater! It was so fun and we enjoyed talking about Disneyland on the drive. We stopped at this fun rock art out in the middle of no where. It's actually about twenty minutes out of Vegas.

We got checked in at Camelot Inn Saturday night. We went to Downtown Disney and played at the Lego store.

Sunday we went to church in Anaheim and then went to the Newport Beach Temple.

We found this really cool cove to play at after going to the temple. It is called Shaw's Cove. I hope we go back there again.
