Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great Memorial Day weekend! Marshall and his dad took the three oldest four wheeling. James and Lynnlee got to go fishing also.

We stayed with my parents and had lots of cousin time, playing at the park and a yummy BBQ. I love holiday weekends!

Last Day of School

I love the last day of school! It is so exciting to change it up and why not celebrate and set the day apart from all the other days.

Lynnlee had the best kindergarten teacher! We will definitely miss Ms. Dean!
I wish I would have gotten a picture with James and his teacher because she was also amazing and made learning so fun.

We had a neighborhood ice cream social at our house when school got out. All the moms chipped in bringing cones and different flavors of ice cream. The kids loved it and had a few cones each. Then they all ran around and played.

The minis love sneaking over to our neighbor's porch because they love sitting on their cute, little bench.

That afternoon we had a water balloon fight with friends.

Lynnlee and James had friends over for a late night and we had pizza and watched a movie. The whole day was so fun and couldn't have been any better!

So excited for summer!!!

Spring Soccer

It was a busy but fun spring soccer season. James made a lot of great friends on his team.

Kaden came a long way from not even touching the ball to having games where he scored a few times. It is fun to see him improve.

Lynnlee hasn't played soccer since she was three-years-old. I wasn't sure how it would all go with her heart but she did great! She really enjoyed playing this season and played really hard.

Weekly Minis

So this is a minis post but now I realize I take way more pictures of Sienna. She is just always there and smiling and definitely dominates. My goal is to get more pictures of Taggart.

Sienna has a hard time falling asleep and Lynnlee will go through phases where she sleeps in James's and Kaden's room because Sienna keeps her up. So one night Sienna wouldn't stop crying and talking so we put her in Lynnlee's bed and she was asleep in seconds.

Sienna rolled out of bed two hours later and ended up back in her crib. That morning we told Lynnlee that Sienna slept in her bed for a bit and so they both climbed in for a picture.

The minis got huge lollipops from Peppermint Place. They loved them. They were sticky from head to toe. It's hard to see in this picture but Taggart has sticky all over. He fell asleep while eating it and I knew he was tired because he didn't move while I wiped him down with a baby wipe.

Our neighbor is the minis age and she loves jumping on the trampoline with them.

Game of Life

I love playing the Game of Life with these two. It makes me happy how excited they are when they land on the baby spaces. I'm glad they aren't scarred by the minis. One time we played and James cried because he didn't land on any of the baby spaces so he didn't have any kids. Thankfully this time he had so many babies that he needed two cars.

Rose's Birthday

My birthday week was a fun one. I love making it a family affair so we went to Boondocks. We were there for hours and could have stayed even longer.

On the day of my actual birthday we went to Heber for a party at my parent's house. My mom made my favorite, Oreo Cheesecake. Yum!

Ballroom Recital

This picture has nothing to do with the ballroom post but I decided to randomly post it here. These three were my shopping buddies while Kaden was at preschool one day. We weren't at this store for very long but they hopped on this couch and posed so cute and wanted a picture.

One family night we went to the Lehi Ballroom spring recital. One of the boys was in our ward before the boundaries changed. My kids loved watching him dance. Each kid caught the dancing bug and were movin and groovin in their seats while watching it. Lynnlee loved it the most and kept saying how good all of the dancers were.

Weekly Minis

The minis are 22 month. Being a twin mom is hard. They both have lots of hard moments and I say to myself, this is so hard! They want carried a lot and they aren't happy a lot of times through the day. They fight over the same things. When they are hungry they don't want anything that I have. They get into trouble when I'm trying to get things done. While I was mowing the lawn Sienna took a piece of chalk inside and drew all over the house. Anytime they are laughing together it is usually an indication that they are causing mischief. Soccer season added a new hard of taking them to all the games and practices and making sure they are happy and behaving during games and practices. They kept running on all the soccer fields during one of Lynnlee's games. It's tiring trying to stay on top of them. I write all of this so when other twin moms read this they can know they aren't alone. I visit teach another twin mom and it's nice venting to each other.

Here are a lot of fun pictures because there are lots of fun and enjoyable moments too. 

We taught Kaden's preschool one week because his teacher had a baby. The minis were entertained by all of the extra kids at our house.

When it works out we all go to James's soccer practices and play on the playground. The minis love the swings the most.

Warm weather means irrigation time and the minis watched the irrigation ditch all day.

When they start to fight I try to distract them by telling them they are friends and to hug. It works some of the time.
