I loved training last summer. I have been wanting to train for another half Ironman but I’m not sure it will work out this summer. I’m going to try to train and if I can train we’ll then I’ll sign up for a race.
I started brick training a few weeks ago on Tuesdays and Thursdays with swimming and then biking. I got out of the pool dripping wet, put on my cycling clothes over my swimsuit, got on my bike and rode. I loved it so much. Swimming and biking in the hot summer morning are the perfect pair. Plus the views are amazing most mornings.
Saturday I swam for 45 minutes, biked 26 miles, and then ran 3 miles. After I finished I felt so good.
This is my most favorite spot on the Murdock Trail. I love the line of tall trees and the sun rising and shining through.
If all goes well I’ll do the Bear Lake Brawl 70.3! Here’s to hoping training will go well this busy summer.
