Dry Creek Elementary has a really fun Art Fair every spring. Everyone hangs up art in the hallway, there are classrooms with different art workshops. The favorite is the clay. Tag and I walked around and saw Origami in one of the classrooms, print making, water color, and sketching. There was also a drumming workshop. In the gym different classes were playing recorders, ukuleles and a short play.
It was on a Thursday which is our craziest day. Each of my kids have something at 5:00 every Thursday and it is near impossible to get everyone where they need to go. Marshall coached Lynnlee's game. Betsy saved the day by taking Sienna to the art festival and then her soccer game. I took Tag to the art fair after his piano lesson. We got pictures with his art in the hallway.
Kade's class did a fun project called the ten times project. You can pick anything you want and make it ten times bigger or smaller. Kade loves origami so it was no surprise he chose an origami frog.
