I love General Conference weekend! It is a spiritual feast! Saturday was a rainy day and Kade, Tag, and Sienna had a great time playing in the rain.
We went to Heber Saturday afternoon. We had dinner pizza and watched the evening session. Betsy and Grace and her friend Claire came up too. I made a double batch of caramel and made carameled and then dipped the apples. Each person ordered a white chocolate, milk chocolate or plain caramel apple. There was also an option for heath bits. Lynnlee and Sienna helped me with the apples. Everyone got to eat their apple that weekend or take it home and enjoy it. It is so fun to see my progress in this whole process. They used to not turn out. Now I know how long to wait after the caramel is finished so it can cool enough to not run right off the apples. Then I know to let the caramel cool off before dipping it in the chocolate. Then Voila! You have a nice looking carameled apple. Yum!
We stayed over Saturday and I made breakfast pizza and orange Julius for breakfast. Mmmm! We enjoyed watching conference and then had Sunday dinner together. Sienna played with Grandma's fairy garden and reorganized it so I wanted to include it since I didn't have very many pictures from this weekend.
