Grandma Ruth's Birthday

I was so grateful I got to spend my mom's birthday with her! I was texting her the night before about her doctor's appointment on her birthday. I told her I could drive her and it ended up that my dad had had a rough night so she did need me to drive her. It worked out perfectly because I didn't have anything and so I drove up to Heber and picked her up. Then we drove to Salt Lake to her appointment. Her appointment went well and everything was good. We had time to shop at Trader Joe's and See's Candy after her appointment. We stopped in Midway for lunch at the Olive Press Cafe. The salad was so yummy!

She saw her friend there who shares the same birthday.

The next day I took my mom and dad to the temple. We met up in Orem and then drove to the Timpanogos Temple. We did Initiatory. It all went smoothly and my dad was able to do initiatory on his own. It was the best morning! I made salads to eat in the car after. It was a special day and I'm so glad everything worked out!
