James loves everything Star Wars. R2D2 is his favorite character so he picked out this backpack and lunch bag.
Lynnlee waited a long time for the day to come when she could go to the same school as James. Her teacher is Ms. Dean. She is very nice and Lynnlee loves going to her class.
The bus was late and it was hard for James to wait because he was so excited to get to school.
Lynnlee had a rainy first day and I told her I could drive her to the bus but she insisted on walking in the rain. She got on the bus without any hesitation. James found her at the end of school and made sure she got on the right bus. Then they sat by each other.
The principal was on her bus and got off and welcomed them to kindergarten.
We have a tradition of going for ice cream after school on the first day and talking about everyone's day. This year we bought ice cream treats from the store and enjoyed sitting at home talking about their days. This was just as fun and way easier than taking the minis out.
