Backyard Neighbors

Fact: I have never had a backyard neighbor that I can remember. I was born in Heber but from the time I was 5 years old to 18 years old we lived in Daniel. We were surrounded by fields on every side. 

Since being married we’ve lived in Logan, Bountiful, American Fork and now Lehi. In each place we had side neighbors but no backyard neighbors.

I love the farm fields behind my house. When we moved in the word on the street was that the farmer who owned the fields had it in his will and trust to keep the fields farmed forever. We hoped that would be what would happen. He passed away two years ago and his daughter sold everything.
