Pioneer Day

We started off Pioneer Day at Bismarck Donuts in Orem. It is so yummy! We took donuts to everyone in Heber. We hung out in Heber the rest of the day. It was a great Pioneer Day in my opinion. It was nice spending time with everyone. I got to try gluten free chicken strips from Dairy Keen for the first time. They were so good! It was a great day of gluten free eating.

The girls wanted to sleep over that night. I thought I would be having a quiet night at home that night at home because they boys were at Wind Rivers. I stayed in Heber until 10 and then headed home. That night the boys called from Wind Rivers. I was so worried when I saw them calling because it was Thursday and I wasn't suppose to hear from them until Saturday morning. So naturally my first thought was that something terrible had happened. When I answered the call I immediately said, "Is everything ok?" Marshall said, "No, Kade is being life flighted right now.....just kidding yeah we are all fine!" My heart dropped and the adrenaline was pumping. It was not a funny joke! The cell service wasn't very good but they said they decided to come home early so James could go to a HXP reunion Friday night. They said they were driving home and would be home around 1:00am. I was happy to hear they were coming home but honestly a little sad I wasn't going to get a quiet night at home by myself. Haha! The life of a busy mom means looking forward to alone time. I was excited they came home early though. It meant that they could participate in the bake sale on Friday. Plus Charlie's family was in town and Katie's family so naturally, cousins were so excited that Kade and Tag were home!
