We didn't have anything on Saturday of Steel Days. We put some chairs out the night before. Saturday morning was over cast so it was the perfect weather during the whole parade. Otherwise it would have been sooo hot. Bailey came with us. We had to park far away but everyone was really great about walking. (The boys were still at young men's camp.)
There was a ton of candy and handouts thought the whole parade. We came home with two bags full of candy. Colby, Lynnlee's friends, came and said hi to everyone.
That afternoon, Lynnlee, Kade, Sienna and I walked around the booths. We put a blanket out to save a spot for the firework show that night. Lynnlee didn't get to see fireworks on the 4th and so we had front row seats for the Steel Days fireworks. It was amazing! We had to park a mile away but it ended up being just fine. When the fireworks were over we all walked to the car and it was so far away that it was easy to drive away because the traffic wasn't as bad.
These were the only pictures I got because I feel like pictures of fireworks are never as good as in person. Lynnlee, Colby, and Eden went with us. We were all on blankets looking up and enjoying them.
