Neighborhood Police

I lady in my neighborhood had a great idea to thank the police officers. There are three in our neighborhood. So my friend and I got the ball rolling and everyone in the neighborhood donated a small amount of money. We used it towards signs, balloons, ribbons and gift baskets for each officer. On Friday we hung up the signs and then lined the neighborhood with balloons and ribbons.

Then we went to each officer's house and delivered the baskets. I was choked up each time seeing their reactions.

One of the officers wasn't home but his wife was so grateful and teared up. I definitely appreciate all they do to keep us safe!
