Wednesday we went to Zion. We haven't been there since Kade was a baby. We had a good drive there. We stopped at the Creamery and got some ice cream and checked out the store.
The signs are sold old they are blank. Good old small towns.
We got settled into camp that afternoon and ate dinner. I pre made all of the meals so warming up dinner was really fast! We got our camel backs ready and headed to the Sprindale shuttle. It was a short ride to Zion Visitors Center and shuttle.

We planned to hike to Emerald Pools but we didn't pay attention to the signs and annoucements about the main bridge being closed. So we should have taken the Grotto stop but we took the lodge stop and since the bridge was closed we didn't have time to do the Emerald Pools hike from there. So we walked along side the river to the Grotto stop and called that good for the night. We didn't want to miss taking a shuttle back because they only ran until 8:15.
It was a good easy hike and nice warm up.
That night we had s'mores and then got to bed early.
