Wednesday at Siesta Key

Siesta Key is my favorite in Florida and maybe next time it will work out to stay there. The sand is so fine and so soft. The entrance into the water is so gradual and there is shallow water farther out. The water is clear and so warm. The only downside we found is that their weren't as many shells as Venice.

I wish it worked out to stay longer but the minis were really tired when nap time came around. We went to our favorite place for ice cream, Big Olaf. Sienna kept looking for Olaf, ha ha! This place has been around forever so it has no connection to Frozen or the character Olaf.

We went back to Venice for some quiet time.

We had lots of people staring at us wherever we went. Dinner was no different and so we tried the prep the kids each time to remember their manners. Sienna was bouncing all over the booth so it didn't quite work this night.

It's considered off season right now in Florida because it is so hot for them. Target was so quiet and I felt like we were the only ones in the store. Everyone got a long surprisingly well for most of the trip.

We stopped at the pier on our way home. I'm not sure why but it made James really nervous being out on the end so we didn't stay long.

Then back to Venice for the sunset. There were lots of thunder clouds around most days but they usually stayed to the east and we rarely had rain.
