Fall Break at Palisades

We went camping to Palisade State Park for fall break. My parents and Bonnie's family also came. This is our third time camping there and we really love it. There is a good variety of things to do. The lake was about half the size thanks to the fact that we haven't had rain in months. The good side is that it was too cold to kayak so we didn't really need the lake. The boys didn't need to go throw rocks in the water. They found other things to stay busy.

We got there on Wednesday night. We got settled and went to bed.

Thursday we hung out around camp. My parents brought their tandem bike and we brought bikes so we rode around camp a lot. Our group site had a huge parking lot so it was perfect for the kids to ripstick, scooter and ride. The kids had fun at the park for a little while also.
Marshall took the kids on rides on the four wheeler.

Thursday night my mom had chocolate fondue for dessert.

My dad entertained camp with his accoridan. A family from Spanish Fork who was camping near by came and set up their camping chairs and listened for awhile.

Thursday night the kids played corks in our trailer and the adults played Yahtzee in Bonnie's trailer. It was so fun!

It was so fun having cousins with us. They played games, made rubber-band jewelry and played outside.

Friday we spent the day up Six Mile Canyon. We had a picnic lunch, rides on the four wheeler, fishing, shooting BB guns and playing on the shore.

The kids played pretend for at least an hour on the shore. That night we had a campfire and made S'mores.

Saturday we packed up after breakfast and headed home. It was a great fall break!
