We had the Hallo-Turkey challenge. We had teams and Cam and Brooke were our judges. It was a fun and friendly competition and there were lots of laughs watching everyone use their imagination with the different leftover Halloween candy.
James was on a team with Lynnlee. The title of their turkey was Turkey on a Snowy Day. They were the winners this year.
Marshall was on a team with Kaden and Taggart. The title for their turkey was Bronze Turkey. It was voted most likely to become an astronaut. Also most likely to go to Walgreens and buy some Visine.
Sienna and I were on a team. Our turkey was titled Turkey Lives Matter. Ours was voted most realistic and best title.
The minis had to disguise a turkey for their class so the turkey won't get eaten for Thanksgiving. Naturally Sienna wanted to disguise hers as a ballerina. Taggart wanted his turkey to be Waldo. It was a lot of fun helping them!
We have been throwing around the idea of making more Sisters Cooking and Craft videos. Lynnlee has a list of ideas. One of those ideas was turkeys out of Oreos. We just couldn't get a video going though. It really is amazing we were able to do so many videos during quarantine. Everything fell into place back in the spring. The other kids were in the basement or outside so we had it quiet. I feel like my house was a lot cleaner compared to now it's hard to keep the kitchen de-cluttered. So no new videos for now. Lynnlee and Sienna made turkeys out of Oreos and we took some pictures. Hopefully one day things will fall into place to make some more Sisters Cooking and Crafts. It really was a lot of fun.
They used the extra pieces to make random faces on Starbursts.
Kaden's class had a Thanksgiving party and I was in charge of the treat/craft. I found this idea on Pinterest.
