Jarvis Family Extravaganza

The beginning of July is one of the most fun times of the year and also the busiest. We had our second annual Jarvis Extravaganza Monday celebrating America and family birthdays in July, Betsy's and Conner's birthdays Tuesday, the Minis birthday's Wednesday, and Kade's birthday Thursday. It was so much fun and also so exhausting at the same time.

The Jarvis Extravaganza is pretty much our family reunion for the year. For the past two years all of my siblings have been there and most nieces and nephews. Lily is working in Moab for the summer so she wasn't there this year but otherwise everyone was there.

It was a fun filled day starting with a pancake breakfast. Throughout the day there was a inflatable water slide for the kids, nine square,  ladder golf, and socializing. That night we had BBQ and talent show. We also took a family picture-not formal or anything but something to remember we were all together.

At the talent show James played the french horn with my dad accompanying him on the accordian, Lynnlee played the ukelele with Lydia and also did magic tricks throughout, Kade danced to Hamster Dance, Taggart did a mini hot dog eating contest, and Sienna danced to the Muppets.

My mom got out her cotton candy machine, snow cones maker, and popcorn popper - all previous Mother's Day, Christmas and birthday presents from us kids. So it's fun to use them all. The nieces had a blast making snow cones, cotton candy and popcorn for everyone.

Early that morning the boys went fishing with Grandpa Lowry. They said it was one of the best fishing days ever. The caught twenty fish within a few hours.

I enjoyed a run through Midway that morning.
