Thanksgiving in Florida

 I have spent Thanksgiving in Florida a handful of times. Every time is just better and better!

The morning started out with a family 10k. The weather was a little rainy so only a few of us ran and some walked and some cheered.

We saw this during our run.

The rest of the morning was spent getting ready for Thanksgiving dinner. Aunt Donna hosted everyone at her club house.

On the drive we found a turtle crossing the road. So naturally everyone took turns holding it and then we safely moved it off the road.

It was fun spending time with Uncle Joe, Aunt Kathy, and Joseph, Jill and Scott, and of course, Aunt Donna. We were hoping the Alligator would be out in the pond but nope.

After dinner the kids swam, played shuffleboard, pickle ball and bocce ball.

I felt very thankful this Thanksgiving!!!

On the way home we had to get ice cream because it's just something you do every night in Florida.
