4th of July

Our neighborhood is seriously so amazing. A couple of ladies put together a pot luck breakfast and bike parade. I bought blueberry bread from Costco to contribute and then made red, white and blue suckers. Red-raspberry, white-coconut, blue-blue raspberry. I wanted to make cinnamon rolls but didn't have time with going to Lagoon the day before and then prepping for my family to come over.

Sienna and Lynnlee got new outfits for the holiday. Everyone was so festive.
Our neighborhood has grown and we had an even better turnout this year.
We rented an inflatable slide for my family to use on the holiday. The fun part is that we got it for two days, the day before and the holiday.
Cam's kids came over too and everyone loved it!

It was worth every penny. Non stop entertainment for two days.
We had quite the spread! Hamburgers and hot dogs were the main dish. Then we had cheesy potatoes, salad, jello, watermelon, veggie tray, chips, and fruit. Betsy made yummy fruity pebbles treats and chocolate rice Krispy treats.

We celebrated July birthdays and my mom brought a really yummy Bundt cake.

Everyone played Jackbox and it was quite the hang out. I love this picture because this is how I want everyone to make themselves at home when they are at my house.

Everyone went home before fireworks. James went to Drew's, Lynnlee and Kade went with Katie's family to Grandma's and Grandpa's. That left Tag and Sienna with us.
We were going to watch fireworks in Penny's neighborhood and then we found out they weren't having them this year. We noticed that with so many aerial fireworks around there was plenty to see. We just needed to be up a little higher. So we went on the roof, just out side the Lego room window. We could see the fireworks at Thanksgving Point and all the neighborhoods around our house. It was perfect!
