In April there was a Global Youth Service Day. It was the end of April on a Saturday the same weekend as our stake conference. It didn't work to plan a stake youth service project that Saturday due to the other meetings. I was really sad about it and still wanted to have a service project. I pushed it to happen and planned a date with my presidency. Then we took it to the Stake Youth Leadership Committee. They helped plan the service project. We decided to have six stations. We found an organization called Stitching Hearts that could provide supplies for a few of the stations. We got looms so weave sleeping mats, took patterns off marble mazes, threaded drawstring bags, and tied quilts.
